Great location, cozy cabin was perfect for my son and I. Centrally located within 45 min of the 7 ski resorts we skied.
Sweet cabin, very clean, comfortably furnished inside and out, peaceful nice neighborhood and easy communication with the host. Although close to the lake, public access is further away. Lots of nice bike paths close by, and easy commute to numerous activities. We stayed 4 nights, 5 days and had a very nice time. Also, it was wise to follow the “ bear precautions” because we did have a brief visit that was limited to the front yard.
Though small this two bedroom house is super cozy and perfectly appointed and well located for a wonderful visit. The host was so accommodating, we felt like welcome guests.
The wooden interior, fireplace and kitchen setup offer an authentic mountain feel. The cabin is clean, well ammended and primely located. Eagle Rick is a quick hike away as well as grocery stores and restaurants are a quick drive. Palisades sky resort is a 20 minute drive away. The lake is right there. We would definitely return.
We had a very nice stay. The cabin is very cozy and perfect location to ski at homewood (3 min drive).
Chris is very nice, very fast responding and extremely accommodating.
We would be happy to stay there again.
This was our second stay at this cabin. We love the neighborhood that it is in. It is a small cabin, but perfect for a small family. It has everything that is needed for your stay. The owner is really easy to work with. We will definitely be staying here again!
Our family of four had a great stay at this cabin. It’s old Tahoe style, but warm and cozy with the space heaters provided in the bedrooms. It’s a bit dark - a few more brighter lamps would go a long way - but otherwise we had everything we needed. Great neighborhood with trail access, very close to the lake and 20 minutes to Alpine!
My sister and I had a wonderful time staying in this cabin for a week. It’s cosy, decorated w good taste and has everything you need. The landlord was very responsive and flexible. We are already hoping to go back next summer.
The cabin has everything you need and is very well situated. It’s also charming. The host is amazing. He answered my emails immediately. This was our second stay and next summer will be our third.
We loved the cozy cabin on our favorite part of the lake. The owner was very easy to communicate with and very flexible. We plan to come back next summer. Five stars!
We totally enjoyed our stay at this property, especially the location being on the west shore. Our only issue would be that the lighting was very dim. However, Chris was very attentive and helpful during our stay.
The cabin is cozy and exactly as described. The highlight of our experience was how communicative and accommodating Chris, our host, was. We ventured up to Tahoe during last month's crazy snowstorms and Chris was incredibly flexible with us and numerous times checked in that we were safe and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!
Had a wonderful, snowy weekend at this cozy cabin in Tahoe Pines!! The cottage is located a bit south of Tahoe City on the Western shore, just a block from the lake. Big beautiful pine trees, comfortable living room area, great beds and linens, and a very welcoming set up. Nestled in a neighborhood, the home felt very private and quiet. Our Host was wonderful to communicate with... very prompt, very helpful with places to eat and visit in the area, accommodating to our schedule, and informative about the kitchen ware for our holiday cooking plans. Great time of year to see Tahoe and perfect location to sightsee both the north and south ends of the lake. We would return in a heartbeat!
This property had everything I needed, and I love the customer service of the owner, and I loved all of his recommendations for places to go biking and hiking. The kitchen had everything that I needed to enjoy my stay. It was nice to be nestled amongst all the big trees. The only thing I would change would be not using scented detergents or dryer sheets because some of the towels and bedding had strong fragrances.
A friend and I wanted a week of work and play in Tahoe. The location was ideal for accessing Homewood! It's also not too far from Palisades.
The host was very responsive. The kitchen was better stocked than many rentals that I've been in. While my cell reception (ATT) was terrible, the internet was fantastic!
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at this special , rustic cozy cabin in Homewood. It was clean and very comfortable for the two of us. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking equipment and dishes for the few meals we made during our stay. It was a great location and was easy to find even though the amount of snow almost concealed the entire house from the street! All of my communication with the property owner was pleasant, friendly and efficient. We would happily stay again on our next trip to Lake Tahoe
What a wonderful cozy home in the stunning neighborhood of Tahoe Pines. With quick access to the most gorgeous shores of Lake Tahoe to tremendous hikes, views, bike paths, boating, kayaking, SUP and much more - wow! The area restaurants were fantastic with views galore.
The property itself was absolutely perfect for 2 but could absolutely host 6. Wonderful interior with all the amenities, large backyard with grill and hang out area - front deck of fantastic size - quick quick walk to the Lake. So nice!
Our host Chris was so kind, communicative, responsive and very proactive. Made our stay extra special with insights on the area/activities and unique traits of wonderful Lake Tahoe.
My wife and I are already looking at dates for a return trip(s). Thank you Chris and VRBO!

Si volveria a optar por quedarme alli o recomendarlo a otros, check in y check out facil
Stayed with a partner and a friend, so two bedrooms was perfect. Place is comfortable and inviting, under the trees just a little ways off the road but far enough that there's no road noise at all. Conveniently located between Obexer's boat marina or Homewood ski slopes to the south and Tahoe City to the north. Closest market is also a great little place for provisions. Well stocked kitchen dishes, glasses, cookware, a nice coffee maker, and lots of blankets and throws. Front deck and back patio are both good hangout spots. Loved staying here.
Great location, great biking trails
Nice little cabin, the host was very helpful with tips on hiking trails and water sports rental shops.
Beds weren't the most comfortable but otherwise a great stay.

As advertised. Great communication with lead time from owner. Full of everything you need. Access to the lake and activities and also the forest and hikes. Perfect for a core family get away and good price compared to some other similar cabins that tout more, but not more of what you need. This cabin has all you need. Highly recommended.
