This property was even better than the pictures showed. Everything was squeaky clean and it is well furnished throughout. There were many special amenities that made our stay perfect. The balcony had comfortable furniture for looking out over the beautiful lake and mountains. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We were in Hiawassee for the Dailey and Vincent Music Festival and we were less than 15 minutes from the Fair Grounds. We hope to stay there next year as well!

The Roost is even better in person. So spacious,clean and the porch is wonderful. We enjoyed the swim deck very much too. I will say that there are quite a few steps and a slope getting up and down but we did just fine. We are planning to book it again soon!

This condo was great. It was clean, the beds were comfy, showers were large. Kitchen was great and had nice little touches everywhere. Porch was great. We spent a lot of time out there just relaxing. The dock was perfect for a small family. The only thing I would suggest is a recliner for the living room. One other thing to mention is that the neighbors upstairs are very noisy when they are there. Thankfully they left after just a couple of days. Even with noisy neighbors I would come back to this little piece of heaven.

Nicely furnished with lovely water view from bedroom, living room and porch. There were a couple upgrades needed for cleaning staff but not for critical areas (bed, bath, kitchen counter, etc.) which were all fine. Overall, quite nice.

Rooms were clean and well appointed. Didn’t do a whole lot of cooking since we were only there for the weekend, but we had everything we needed in the kitchen and it appeared we would have if we’d tried to prepare a large meal.The back porch with lake and Mountain View’s was our favorite part! We sat out there and relaxed quite a bit.

A welcoming home in a great location. You'll want to come back!

Of all the places we have rented for vacation, the Roost is the first one we've ever come back to. It has a very clean and friendly feel, an amazingly well equipped kitchen and a covered porch with cozy seating, dining and a wonderful view of the lake and the mountains beyond. Water sports and a gazillion good hiking trails close by. Great place.

Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed going to Blue Ridge and Ellijay, but the fall leaves were much more vivid in Hiawassee. The sunrise was amazing over the mountains and lake. Everything was perfect for our little weekend getaway. We will be back.
