3 bedroom, 2 bath home only steps from the Hiawassee River. Mountain home with breathtaking river views. Screened back porch with plenty of seating for friends and family. Deck on the river with a fire table. Sun porch with a swing bed for relaxing, reading, or sleeping. Open the windows to hear the soothing sounds of the river. Only 16 miles from downtown Helen, GA and just outside of downtown Hiawassee. We are also only about 20 miles from the casino in Murphy, NC. Flat screen TV's in master suite and living room. Gas log fireplace. Catch and release fishing allowed!! We'd love to have you in our home. Check in is 4pm and Check out is 11am.

Paradise on the river

Our stay was wonderful as always! We have stayed here many times now and truly enjoy our vacations at this beautiful home on the river. We always look forward to our trips here and will be booking again soon!

Wonderful property next to the river. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the screened in porch and sitting on the deck with the gas fire pit in the evening. We would definitely recommend staying here. The house has all the comforts of home and it's in a very quiet neighborhood. I guess the only downside is the extremely windy mountain road driving to and from Helen.

This is the second time we stayed at this property. Each visit was peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable. We found plenty to do with a twenty minute or less ride. The property is fully furnished with extras (k-cups and toiletries come to mind) available to you. Checking in is a breeze. The neighborhood is quiet and anyone we saw was friendly. The property definitely earns five stars.

Love this house, property, and location!

We were there with our motorcycles and there is nothing better than after a long day of riding coming back and relaxing on either the huge screen porch or the deck overlooking the river. Perfectly located with everything you could possibly need for a fun relaxing vacation.

A perfect place

We spent a week enjoying cool mountain air and wonderful trout fishing. The house was perfect and the owners responsive and friendly. Quiet neighborhood and perfect spot to chill and relax.

This place was a dream. The Christmas decorations were so perfect. We watch fly fishers off of the deck. So cool. Our whole family was so comfortable and we enjoyed our stay so much. Highly recommend!

We love Hiawassee! The river house & neighborhood are beautiful. 20-25min from Helen. Very curvy roads going to Helen (but to be expected in the mountains!)

Wonderful weekend

The home and property surrounding it were absolutely beautiful. Only a 20 minute ride into Helen and a 10 minute ride into town. Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend this home to anyone and we will be returning ourselves sometime

Birthday weekend

Beautiful house and location. We celebrated our twins 29 birthday with their spouses. The house was perfect as it was directly on the river. We enjoyed sitting on the screen porch listening to the river. Also great location for hiking and checking out wineries. We will be back.

Welcome to the TYNMAN Riverside Lodge! We purchased a home that's been in our family for years. My husband's parents decided to move to a different part of Georgia so we bought this jewel in the mountains. We were so excited to be offered the opportunity to own property in Hiawassee.

Why they chose this property

Hiawassee is a quaint town in the North Georgia Mountains only a couple of hours from Atlanta. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

What makes this property unique

Relax on the screened back porch on the swing or adirondack chairs. Have coffee while listening to the river. Sit on the front porch rocking chairs while reading your favorite book. Refresh and recharge in Hiawassee!
