I stayed in the cabin for a month. It had everything I needed. Easy to get to. One bedroom on each floor so plenty of privacy if you had 2 couples. While there are other cabins nearby, the hot tub in located to allow privacy. Would definitely return.
The cabin itself is very cozy and well stocked. The driveway took a little maneuvering to avoid holes and one home in the area is a little sore on the eyes but the area is quiet. The wineries close by were fantastic, a must try (Mt Yonah & Serenity).
Double check to make sure you get the checkin info prior to your visit.
Had most amazing trip. We had never been up here before ( but friends had) but will diffently be coming back real soon. Cabin was super comfy and it had most the things we needed. I would stay there again.
We are retired seniors who like to get out of the Florida heat for a couple weeks each summer. We had a great time and the cabin fit our needs. It is in a great location, close to Helen and Cleveland. We went tubing, horseback riding, rollar coaster riding, lots of wine tasting. Even did a trip to stone mountain. Would consider this cabin again.
This property was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Clean linens. The sheets were in very good shape as well as the towels. Kitchen was stocked. Again place was very clean even the bathrooms and floors. Very close to anything to want to do in that area..small hikes, Helen tubing, Babyland hospital (Cabbage patch doll place), and much more. Helen has a ton of things to offer from tubing, small shops, and local restaurants. Gainesville is close too and has more of your commercial shopping places and restaurants. This cabin is really in the perfect spot and easy to find along with all the amenities you would expect. Hot tub available as well.
Very relaxing, pleasant stay. Close to Helen and stores.
Traffic was a little noisy from highway outside while soaking in the jacuzzi.
Had to call management to pick up garbage ( we were there a week)
Warning, its a steep drive to get to property.
Not sure what was on diningroom table but our skin and clothes stuck to the table.
Other than that it was a nice, large house and very comfortable
We were in town for a wedding at The Sanctuary Estate, this cabin was 9 mimites away from the venue and PERFECT. It was clean, well stocked from the kitchen to extra linens, and so much more than was advertised.
Only complaint is that VRBO didn't send the door code, and we had to call the property manager. Nothing that the owner did wrong, and will for sure stay again!
We had a wonderful relaxing weekend in the mountains at this cabin. Close to town for dinner and shopping, but scenic views and quiet neighborhood.
We loved the hot tub on the deck! Kitchen stocked with all we needed for meals in, spotless when we arrived, checkin seamless, absolutely zero issues.
We would recommend to others and will be back again for R&R
Location is only an easy, 10 minute drive from downtown Helen, so it was nice to be able to stay close without it having to be in town. Area is quiet, with the exception of some road noise, but not enough to be bothersome. We used the fireplace every night and the hot tub a couple of times. There isn't much of a view to speak of; the back deck is lined with trees, there's a neighboring cabin a short distance away, and in the front of the cabin your view is a junk-heap of a backyard of a residence (however, you can't fault the cabin owners for that.) We used the cabin for a place to sleep mostly as we were gone all day most days, but it definitely served it's purpose as a quiet retreat for our Anniversary trip. There were a couple of areas the cleaners are missing pretty consistently: dusty bathroom fixtures, cupholders of couches were dirty, and we found what we think was a petrified biscuit in the couch. Aesthetically, I'd update the pictures hanging on the walls, they don't do anything for the cabin, especially since one is a picture of the beach. I'd also recommend a big throw rug in front of the fireplace and runners in the dining room and kitchen to protect the pretty wood floors. But again, those are just cosmetic things, didn't affect our stay. Be aware that heat rises, because it got really hot upstairs, especially with the fireplace on. Overall we were pleased with our stay, and thankfully the downstairs bed was comfy. (We didn't use the upstairs one.)
Tranquil and impeccable property. We have found a gem that met all our needs. Thanks for sharing to us a peaceful place. It made a huge difference in our anniversary.

Cozy but NOT within walking distance to downtown!
The cabin was nice, but beware it is NOT within walking distance to anything! The site says that it is a 12 mile drive to Helen, but it also states that Cowboys and Angels, a restaurant that is located in downtown Helen, is a .3 mile walk. So if you want to be able to walk to Helen this is not the place!
The cabin is cozy yet very roomy and the fireplace worked great. However I would not call it luxurious, from the pots and pans in the kitchen to the linens and towels. All seemed to be well worn and of poor quality, albeit clean. Linens on one bed were torn. Plenty of spare pillows but short on spare blankets. The carpet upstairs really needs replacing and there is no closet in the upstairs bedroom. The mattresses were good. The only other suggestion I'd make is to tell people how to use the lock system. I am not that familiar with them and it would have been helpful to know that after you enter the code to hit the "padlock" button, give it a moment and the door unlocks! It was a scary few minutes there thinking that after an 8 hour drive, we couldn't get in, but we figured it out!
