Located about 5 miles from downtown Helen------Tucked away in the North Georgia Mountains, You will find "Sautee Woods" Cabin is all you will need to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday routine.This luxury cabin has hardwood exterior and tongue and groove pine interior---special windows bring the outside, inside. A massive stacked stone fireplace reaches to the sky! --fully equipped kitchen with electric range, refrigerator with ice and water in the door, microwave, dishwasher, and washer and dryer! Brand new furniture and hot tube added in 2018. Be sure to check out our sister cabin across the street "OAKRIDGE", VRBO #735289.

Honeymoon

My husband and I just wanted a place we could just relax and enjoy each other. We found that At Sautee Woods. It was nice and quiet. Everything we needed was provided as far as the dishes, laundry for the bedroom and towels. The bed was so very comfortable and I got the best rest while at Sautee Woods. Just what we needed and it didn’t disappoint.

Enjoyed our stay

My husband and I had a very relaxing week. Enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the birds in the morning. Loved relaxing in the hot tub in the afternoons after spending the day exploring the area.

Great Weekend Getaway

This property is in a great setting. Dead end road and close to Helen. Just me and my wife and we had plenty of room. Loved the hot tub and porch. Everything worked fine and owner was quick to reply to any messages. Would love to make a return visit.

Quick trip

My wife and I enjoyed the cabin very much. It was just a short weekend trip and the cabin was great. Close to everything and easy to get to.

Albany has been our home for over 40 years.Jeff and I were born and raised in Columbus Ga. We moved to Albany in the early 70's---

Why they chose this property

We have always enjoyed making trips to North Ga. when we were young. Our Father use to rent a pop-up camper every summer and take us to the mountains! Those really are fond memories. Anne and I have always dreamed of one day having a place of our own in this beautiful area of the state---Once I talked my brother and sister in-law to going in with us on this venture---we purchased "OAK RIDGE" located across the street. When this property "Sautee Woods" became available---well it just seemed the perfect fit for our families. they are within walking distance to each other. Over the years we have continued the memories of going to the mountains---and now with both cabins--there is plenty of room for our children and grand children.

What makes this property unique

The first time we entered "SAUTEE WOODS", it reminded us of our beloved cabin "OAKRIDGE" across the street. We loved the massive stacked stone fire place and tongue and groove walls and ceiling. There is a quaint balcony off the up stairs bedroom, perfect for morning coffee. Another feature we enjoy is the wrap-a-around deck---where you can enjoy a game of cornhole or just enjoy the beauty of the thick forest---It's just Beautiful! and the cabin is comfy and cozy!
