Lovingly updated bungalow is perfect for up to 6 people. It is beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. Loved the tasteful Christmas decor! We’ll definitely stay again!
We had a wonderful time at this cute house! We were there right after Christmas and the house was decorated and we got a welcome gift! The house is perfect for a family of five or six and has a fenced in back yard as well. It is super close to town and just a perfect place for a getaway!
Just the comfort and location we were looking for!! Comfortable easy accommodations - with all the well thought out extras!!
Even the dogs loved the porch , back yard - and walking every street in downtown Beaufort.
Thank you for making us feel so welcome -
enjoyed the week!

Great experience in a very good neighborhood. Check in process was seamless. Laurie goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and her house feel like a home
House was perfect, just as described. Very clean and the owner put a lot of care and thought into it. It is 1 block away from a small park on the sound, perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee. Would definitely rent again.
The Beautonic Cottage was the perfect place to spend a week long vacation. Only a few blocks from downtown and a block to the inlet, we were able to bike or walk everywhere we needed to go. The cottage was cute and spacious, and had the best front porch with rocking chairs. We had a great experience and will definitely be back! Thank you!
We absolutely loved our weekend in Beaufort at the Beau-tonic! Such a cute and quaint house just blocks from downtown. We adored that it was old and quirky, and it added to its charm. Easy check-in and great communication with the property owner (who was so nice and friendly and even had a little surprise there waiting for us!) Super clean and well-stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Thank you so much!!
Our stay at the cozy Beautonic was great! Laurie was incredibly responsive and helpful from the moment the booking was made, which made the entire process seamless. The home itself was a true gem – comfortable and inviting. The fenced in backyard was a big plus for our two dogs. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to create a warm and relaxing stay. The location was absolutely perfect, with easy access to downtown and Taylor's creek waterfront. Our stay was set apart by the thoughtful stocking of essentials and extras. The Beautonic is highly recommended, and we are looking forward to our next visit.
Had a lovely four nights. Property was so clean , homey and had eveything we needed. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Walked every morning to the water and saw the wild horses. Quiet neighborhood — really enjoyed morning coffee and evening wine in the front porch. We will be back!!
We are return guests and thoroughly enjoyed the lovely Beau-Tonic cottage, its location and all of the extras the hosts provide! It is also wonderful to be able to bring our fur baby too! We look forward to another visit!
Such a warm welcoming home and so close to historic downtown! The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. I look forward to a longer visit!
We stayed here for my mom's 85th birthday getaway. The location is great, near the waterfront and main business district, and the house is beautifully decorated with an amazing collection of artwork, comfortable beds and other furniture, and a well-appointed kitchen. The back yard was also lovely and great for our dog.

My husband and I are from Durham, NC and currently live in Raleigh. We both grew up coming to the beaches in Carteret County and have always loved it. Our honeymoon was in Indian Beach and Beaufort has always been our happy place.
Why they chose this property
This is a peaceful, sunny home and you feel good as soon as you walk in the door. We've tried to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy and get the most out of your stay. It's perfect for a rest and rejuvenation break and equally as perfect for an active, full speed ahead vacation. Everyone is very friendly and there's always something to do. We love the small town feel of the area and the beautiful nature that surrounds us. It truly is our Beaufort Tonic and our small piece of paradise.
What makes this property unique
We love our front porch and many a bottle of wine has been consumed watching the horses on Carrot Island and the boats drifting down Taylor's Creek. We love being able to walk to Blue Moon, Aqua or Beaufort Grocery for dinner or down to the Dockhouse for some music. You won't want to miss the Beaufort Wine and Food Festival or the Summer Party hosted by the Beaufort Historical Association. Take a water taxi over to Shackleford or Bird Shoals and do some shelling. Atlantic Beach is just minutes away by car . The NC Maritime Museum is special and features all things related to Blackbeard the Pirate and Cape Lookout is breathtaking.
