Peace in St Jean de Fos

Spent a weekend here and it is secluded, peaceful, charming. The downsides are the drive from the main village, down a neglected dirt track which is not great for cars other than for 4x4's. The gite was simple and clean but would benefit from more utensils in the kitchen as it is too basic.

A slice of paradise

A lovely cottage in the most beautiful location. It is so peaceful, all you can hear are the sounds of nature. Caroline, our host, is great. Very helpful - we'd had a puncture before we arrived and she made sure we got it sorted out quickly. .she's a friendly person and she and her husband are there if needed but not intrusive. The cottage is well equipped, outdoors is beautiful and large spaces ensure shade or sunshine all day. The pool is magnificent.. The local area is beautiful. The villages and gorges of the Herault river are stunning. And fabulous places to eat in in every one, including the local one, 2k away from the cottage. Location also good for exploring further afield For us, this place was the perfect holiday. We wanted peace and tranquility cottage has this in abundance. Thankyou Caroline. Heel aardige gastvrouw. Ze spreekt redelijk Engels en vraagt regelmatig hoe het gaat. Doet suggesties voor uitjes en restaurants. Mocht haar wasmachine gebruiken. Ook vriendelijke echtgenoot. Met hen twee keer het aperitief gebruikt. De locatie was moeilijk te vinden en ligt ver buiten het dorp. Wel heerlijk rustig en schaduwrijk. Het huis is ook heerlijk koel.

Gite charmant au cœur de la vegetation et très bien situé

Séjour très agréable ! Le lieu est bien situé par rapport à tous les lieux touristiques et néanmoins il permet une véritable déconnexion. Merci à Caroline pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. Nous conseillons ce gîte aux familles qui souhaitent se retrouver dans le calme et la verdure, au bord de l'hérault. Le petit plus: le canoë mis à disposition !

Découverte de l'Hérault

Le gite est très bien situé à quelques mètres de l'Hérault. A l'écart du village, on est au calme. La présence de la rivière et les arbres apportent de la fraicheur pendant les journées chaudes. Et si vous voulez vous rafraichir vous pourrez profiter de la piscine ou faire un tour en canoë juste en bas de la propriété! C'est l'endroit idéal pour visiter la région ou simplement se relaxer.

Un vrai bon moment !

Le hasard fait parfois très très bien les choses ! Envie de dépaysement, tout en ayant près de vous tout le nécessaire à de belles vacances dans un cadre naturel presque intacte alors ce lieu est pour vous. Le temps s’est arrêté pour nous pendant quelques jours et c’était exactement ce que nous souhaitions. Notre hôte était parfaite tant dans ses conseils que son accueil ! Merci
