Our group of 15 visits the area every year, and this was our first stay at Arcadia Resort. The resort and homes are beautiful, and overall we had a great experience. Maintenance was also very responsive as they fixed an issue with our shower doors the same day.The biggest disappointment was that we were notified only two weeks before our trip that the lazy river would be closed for most of our stay due to maintenance. We had booked two homes months in advance specifically because of the resort's amenities, and with such a large group, finding another place wasn't a realistic option. There was no notice of the planned maintenance when we booked, so we would have chosen different dates or another resort if we'd known.The on-site grill was also closed for much of our stay, there was a noticeable paint/lacquer smell from the maintenance work, and one of the house grills caught fire when we used it because it appeared to need cleaning and maintenance.The manager who contacted me was great to work with and genuinely tried to help, but we were disappointed that leadership wasn't willing to offer a more meaningful discount for this huge inconvenience.Overall, we enjoyed the resort and would consider staying again. Better communication about major amenity closures before guests book would make a big difference.

We loved the kitchen. There was plenty of room for four or five people to work around the island. I wish it was my kitchen at home Kids loved the air hockey We were disappointed the pinball machine didn't work It was nice that bedrooms were spread apart from each other for privacy.It was great to have outdoor seating at the table since we didn't all fit at the table inside The pool area was fantastic for the four grandkids, they played for hours everyday

Great property for family

We loved how it overlooked the pool. The property had great amenities. Be aware nobody is working on Sundays so no snack bar at pool, pool towels limited, and no tubes for lazy river on Sunday. They allow you to use your own tubes, so wasn’t a big deal for us.

Doesn't get any better!

This is the perfect place to stay. Calm and comfortable for adults, and all the entertainment the kids (of any age) could want. CLEAN and close proximity to the club house and grocery stores. Highly recommended and I would definitely go back.

Fun family reunion place

We had a great time. The villa we were in was very nice and had everything we needed. The only problem was WiFi. Some of the family were suppose to do work. So for a working vacation this was not good. Even when they gave us the secure WiFi , it was not good reception.

Best place for a family

Stayed here with grandparents, kids, and grandkids. Lots of things to do, lots of space to do it. Will be staying here again!

Perfect place for the family

Problems: One hot tub caused several of our grandkids to have itchy rash. A little heavy on chemicals. Also, Clubhouse game room was underwhelming. Our condo game room, on the other hand, was amazing. I'm old and could never figure out how to get a normal tv channel. Overall, we had fun!

A code was sent via the Hospitality APP and we could forward it to our married children who would arrive at different times. This is our second visit and we rented two villas both years. We will probably go back, although the pool-lazy river area were a lot more crowded this year, and they are still building Villas that will add to that crowding. The scenery is outstanding! Very clean and inviting. We had another wonderful family stay.

Fabulous 60th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We gathered about 50 of our extended family to join us at Arcadia to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. We rented three villas. Everyone was thrilled with the ambiance of the villas and the amazing amenities of the pools, slide, and clubhouse. We had plenty of room to spread out and be unconfined. Close by hiking, biking, and pickleball were enjoyed by our group. The staff was very accommodating. Our overall consensus is: "We have to do this again!!!" The rental rates are less than most high quality hotels when shared by the large group that can be housed in the villas. The Arcadia Vacation Resort will definitely be a recurring experience for our family.

Also, the unit slept 18 however there wasn't enough dishes, towels, or blankets for that many. If you advertise for 18, it needs to be supplied for 18. The staff was quick and very accommodating.

Grandkids didn't want to leave

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had 10 adults and 8 children for five days. Plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the pool. Two weeks later some are still wearing their wristband because they know we are coming back. Kitchen is modestly stocked. Bring any special appliances or large pans. Adults loved the air hockey and pinball machine. TV took some time figure out the cable source. Overall, a great time had by all and we'll be back again next summer. Had an issue with the garbage disposal. They were quick to come and repair it. Just don't call the number--walk to the clubhouse and ask for assistance. We never had any luck with a phone call.
