About this property

Wake up in our cozy cottage to the beauty of Bass Lake. On almost 2 acres, 150ft of private lake front. Enjoy your day kayaking, swimming, boating, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, snow tubing & cross country skiing. Blue Lake Township is well known for its ATV & Snowmobile Trails as we are in the snow belt region of northern Michigan. Just a short distance to four ski and snow tubing resorts: Boyne Mountain, Shanty Creek, Tree Tops, Hanson Hills. You can enjoy our cottage all year long!

Our two bedroom, one bath cottage sleeps 6 with a pull out sofa in the living room. The kid-friendly beach has a gradual slope for lots of wading, water play and swimming. Bass lake is full of perch, large mouth bass, small mouth bass, pike, blue gill, and more. You can fish off the dock or bring your own boat, boat launch is on the south end of Bass Lake. This no wake lake has the peaceful up north charm.

$200 refundable damage deposit due at booking. Rental Agreement must also be signed and returned before booking is secured. Discount for 5+ nights.

Great little getaway!

We loved coming to this cottage! Great little place to come and get away from it all. Close to the trails for ATV riding. The boys loved trying to fish (late October fishing isn't the best, but they had fun anyway). Great little lake, loved kayaking too. Boys are already asking if we can come every fall! Hope to be back!

Absolutely lovely

Great property. Pictures don't do it justice. Very cute lake cottage. There is a paddleboat, which was super handy for fishing. Peaceful and quiet except for those with muffler issues driving on the roads around the lake.

Wonderful little place

This was exactly what my husband and i were looking for. Beautiful area, quiet lake and tons of wildlife. We fushed or kayaked every day. The lake was so clear and pretty. A birdwatchers heaven!

Wonderful stay!

We loved this property. It was perfect for small children. We had a blast on the kayaks, playing in the sand and the kids loved the bunk beds. Wonderful experience!

Great but with some caveats

The place is as seen in pictures! It’s was great and we’d stay there again. just 2 things to keep in mind when booking. I don’t feel it’s accurate to say it has a.c. There is one unit by the front door but it isn’t strong enough to cool the property past that entrance so for our last 2 days, the living room remained at around 80 degrees. There are ceiling fans and screens on doors and windows so it didn’t feel that hot but still keep that in mind. Also the property had well water which would have been fine if it didn’t have a strong smell of rotten eggs. I’m not saying it’s a deal breaker just buy drinking water on the way up. Other than that, the place was very clean. The deck was great both for eating and chilling. The kayaks were also very nice. It’s private and secluded. You have neighbors but the place was quiet the entire time we were there which was perfect. All in all, it was exactly the quiet, relaxing vacation that we were looking for. Oh and the mosquitoes are real so bring your bug spray, bug bands etc. I bought a therma cell and it worked great.
