Véronique and Jean-Jacques are happy to welcome you in their Holiday Cottage, in Arces-sur-Gironde, country village, close to the sea (4 kms). The first beaches are 8 kms away. Free provision for your baby: Umbrella bed + 5cm mattress, bath, bottle warmer, cane stroller from 0 to 3 years complete, baby diaper and baby high chair.

Charente-Maritime, the 3rd largest tourist department in France, will attract you with its exceptional villages (Talmont, Mornac-sur-Seudre, etc.), its cultural heritage (the Cordouan lighthouse, the Corderie Royale de Rochefort, the Zoo de la Palmyra, ...) and its sports and fun activities (sailing, hiking, beaches, circuits, parks, spa, ...). Green Tourism and the Nature Poles are also very important.

Taste Charentaise gastronomy with varied and quality specialties, accompanied by Pineau, Cognac, Charentais local wines as well as Bordeaux wines. These can be found along the Wine Route, on the other side of the Estuary (left bank).
