The location of Colmar, in the center of the Alsatian vineyard, earned him the nickname of the Capital of Alsace wines.
Crossroads between Switzerland and Germany, Colmar has tourist assets that have earned it an international reputation. Its Christmas markets, its wine fair, its museums, winstubs, its architectural and historical wealth make Colmar the preferred destination of tourists.
We want you to enjoy our cottage to best enhance your discovery of the treasures of Alsace.
Our cottage is ideally located in the center of Colmar, in a quiet street adjacent to the pedestrian streets.
The duplex apartment is located on the 2nd floor of an old house with independent access which gives it great tranquility. We have completely renovated to offer modern services and qualities.
With an area of 85m2 on the ground, you will have a large bedroom, a large living room, a toilet and a fully equipped modern kitchen.
The most is the garage (vehicles less than 40m long ex Golf, Mégane, Giuletta, Focus, 308, Ds ...) independent located below the apartment with direct access from the inside. Everything is thought to make you feel at home!
Note: our second cottage "The keys of Colmar" located 200 meters can accommodate you if it is already booked!

The VRBO in Colmar was in a perfect location to enjoy the Christmas markets! Garage was convenient for parking! More specific GPS info would have helped us locate the apt more easily! Be prepared for lots of stairs up to apt and then to bedroom! Recommend!

The communication with the owner was most responsive and supportive, the appartement in modern elegance and comfortable perfection, the garage did perfectly fit for our 4,32m car. The location right at the rim of the old town and every place is just minutes away in walking distance from all the interesting places and the vivid old town. Pure pleasure, and happily again.

This is a lovely base from which to explore Colmar. It's pretty central; everything you might want to visit is within a 5-10 minute walk. (If you've not discovered Colmar yet, it's a gem -- oozing with history and within easy reach of some stunning wine villages). There's a supermarket 5 minutes' walk away, and the station is about 20 minutes' walk away.The kitchen is good, and the open-plan nature of the lower floor works well. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom/en suite is very pleasant too. Some may find the 30-odd steps up to the apartment to be a disadvantage, but we didn't.Patrick was very attentive, responding quickly whenever we had a question; he couldn't have been a more helpful host.Overall, we'd definitely recommend staying here. If we return to Colmar we'd definitely stay here again, if we could!

Charming and spacious flat in Colmar

The property was even lovelier than the pictures and was spotlessly clean. Patrick was wonderful to deal with. He answered all my inquiries through VRBO almost immediately. We ended up being an hour later arriving than we had anticipated due to an accident on the highway and he was there waiting for us with a smile. He showed us all around the apartment and had lots of materials there to advise travelers of restaurants, things to do, etc. We arrived by car and the garage at this flat is a wonderful convenience, as it is attached. Colmar is lovely and the Kut'zig Hop-On Hop-Off Route du Vin wine bus (info at tourist center) is a bargain and saves having to drive and park at all the villages. This flat is in a very walkable location with shops and restaurants close by. Colmar is small enough to be navigable but large enough to have lots to see and do. If you sleep with the windows open, you'll hear the trash truck coming by about 6 am but if you close the windows, you won't hear a thing. Our deposit was refunded in a timely manner as well. Would stay here again!!

Schöne Tage in Colmar

Unser Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Lage der Wohnung, direkt in der Altstadt, mit allen Geschäften des täglichen Bedarfs sowie den touristischen Highlights in unmittelbarer Nähe ist top :-) Buchung und Übergabe der Wohnung war super organisiert. Fragen wurden vom Vermieter Patrick zügig und charmant beantwortet. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Lediglich im Bad wären Handtuchhalter und einige Gaderobenhaken im Eingangs- bereich wünschenswert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :-)

Fast perfekt, aber…

Die Wohnung ist zentral gelegen, die Garage wie angegeben (leider) sehr kurz, aber kostenfreie Parkplätze waren in 5 Gehminuten zu finden. Die Wohnung ist für 2 Personen schön groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Was man leider überlesen kann, ist, dass das Badezimmer offen zum Schlafzimmer ist. Und das heißt auch, die Toilette. Und das hat uns nicht wirklich gefallen. Auch ist das Schlafzimmer unter dem Dach und bei warmem Sommerwetter muss man die Fenster öffnen, hat dann aber i.dR. nicht vor Mitternacht wirklich Ruhe. Wen das nicht stört, dann passt das. Wir würden eine zumindest abschließbare Toilette und ein Klimagerät empfehlen, um die Wohnung gut zu machen.
