Villa 459 - New Modern Luxury Villa | Private Pool | Panoramic Ocean Veiws

Modern, luxurious one bedroom villa within three minutes of the main town, Cruz Bay, St. John. Located in Chocolate Hole, just above the Westin Resort, this convenient location features an air-conditioned master suite with king bed, high end touches such as an Italian custom kitchen, native outdoor stone shower enclosure, and a dipping pool with dramatic sunset views of the surrounding islands.

Standard amenities include high speed wireless Internet with a wide screen flat TV for viewing Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, etc. (no cable), outdoor gas grill, a refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, oven/microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, washer & dryer with complementary laundry soap, iron, accompanied by quality linens and towels, bath products and hair dryer. A wall safe is also provided.

We are about a 10 minute drive to the Virgin Islands National Park where you will find most of our pristine, clear blue water and white sand beaches. The residential neighborhood where the villa is located is a mix of vacation villa rental properties and local residents. It's desirable location is due to it's proximity to "town" Cruz Bay and access to grocery stores and other services. The villa itself sits perched high on the hillside, offering panoramic ocean views where you can see many of the neighboring islands across the sea, while enjoying beautiful sunsets poolside. Villa 459 has all the right things for a couple: great house; great views; great location. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching life go on below us in Hart Bay, Chocolate Hole, Great Cruz Bay, St Thomas and even St Croix well to the south. The sunsets were magical. Our host, Harley, was totally responsive to all our needs.

We had a great stay at this beautiful modern villa. It was perfect for a couple. I would definitely recommend a 2 door Jeep to better navigate the driveway. We hope to be back!

Amazing Villa in St John

My wife and I stayed at Villa 459 for our honeymoon and it was amazing! Harley was super helpful in helping us get to the villa, and was an amazing host. The villa is perfect for a couple and the views are second to none. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic vacation

Our stay was just wonderful despite the arrival of tropical storm Ernesto while we were there! The villa was beautiful with a believable view across the bay from the pool. It was a delight to stay there and our hosts were very attentive and helpful - they made a big difference! We will definitely be recommending to friends and hope to come back sometime!

An amazing Villa -

We were fortunate to stay at stunning Villa 459 for 14 glorious days. The description and pictures don't do it justice - the Villa is beautiful - clean, conveniently located and equipped with everything you could imagine. We enjoyed the gorgeous views, the privacy, the Caribbean sunsets, the outdoor shower and pool, cooking in the high-end kitchen and the overall warm ambiance. The landscaping is stunning! Harley, our host was always available and responsive but never intrusive. We already can't wait to go back! I would give Villa 459 5 stars in every category!

Beautiful Villa for Two

Visiting St. John for years as a couple, it’s been a bit challenging to find upscale villa accommodations for two. Villa 459 delivered! The owners were very appropriately attentive and accommodating, the view beautiful, the location to town and beaches perfect and again the accommodations lovely! Having a plunge pool with a view to cool off after a day at the beach was a perfect way to wind the day down. We would definitely take the opportunity to visit here again.

Gorgeous property with a beautiful view

From the beginning communication was amazing! Harley stayed in touch even throughout our stay, and was very helpful answering any questions that we had. The property was very clean, and very pleasant. The view from the balcony was absolutely gorgeous, and we loved spending time in the pool in the evenings, and watching the sunset. The outdoor shower was also amazing :) The villa was fully equipped with anything that we needed as well, which was very convenient and helpful.

Location is great The views are amazing. Very private. The outdoor shower is divine. Perfect for 2 people. Everything about this villa is first class right down to the silverware. We enjoyed the pool but it is very small. A float would be a nice touch. We enjoyed the deck for morning coffee and romantic dinners and sunsets and star gazing. Would definitely stay here again.

A St. John wedding to remember!

My now Wife and I had an amazing stay at this VRBO property. Harley met us at the rental car agency and allowed us to follow him to the Villa. From the moment we stepped in, we felt right at home. The location was perfect—close to Cruz Bay and beaches, yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The interior design was impeccable, with modern furnishings and thoughtful touches. The kitchen was well-equipped. We loved sipping our morning coffee on the private balcony, overlooking Great Cruz Bay and Chocolate Hole. The bedroom was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Harley was responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Every little thing

Villa 459 is such a dream! The landscaping is beautiful, the views are beautiful, the lizards skittering around the property are beautiful! The owners have thought of everything and have you covered! Everything from a beach bag and beach chairs to fresh laundry detergent and plenty of linens to soft light for quiet nights on the porch! They have thought of every little thing! It was truly a great place and we are so thankful to have gotten to stay there. We spent quite a bit of time in the villa due to rain and we never tired of the space. Our favorite was the outdoor shower, although the showers were quick the outdoor shower was dreamy! Thanks for all your attention to detail and sharing this villa with us!

Heaven on St. John

Harley and Betty couldn't have been more welcoming...everything was sparkling clean, in perfect order and we immediately settled into our house with amazing views overlooking the island bays. It is a dream villa for two - we were celebrating our 40th Anniversary, honeymooned on St. John too - and they had a beautiful bottle of cava chilling for us. The villa has everything you need for a perfectly relaxing stay. Short trips to the store allowed us to eat breakfast and pack lunches for our beach days. They had a cooler and beach chairs - we were set! We often found ourselves returning early from the beaches to just to enjoy our villa - the plunge pool the spectacular deck, the sunset, rum cocktails, etc. The bed was heavenly and the outdoor shower was so much fun - especially during a rain shower! It is a short drive to downtown for dinner. I wish we could have stayed longer...I was in love...we will return! Thank you, both, for your incredible hospitality...

Perfect Couples Villa

-Beautiful hillside property with a spectacular view of Chocolate Hole and beyond, villa was updated and very clean, highlights were outdoor shower and plunge pool (larger than expected). Villa had everything you could think of from wine opener to laundry detergent to speaker to extra beach towels and cooler and chairs. Bedroom has air conditioning. -Host met us the first day and escorted us to the property and gave us a full tour, great communication from the time of booking-Driveway is somewhat narrow and steep so need a small car like a two door jeep -Best beaches: Trunk, honeymoon, maho, cinnamon-Best restaurants on the island: Longboard (no res, put in your name and grab a drink nearby if there's a wait, its worth it), Zozos at Caneel Bay, Coco Jims for painkiller and smoked chicken, Windmill Bar for the view, Morgan Mango for lobster night (book in advance), Sun Dog cafe for breakfast; best food on the beach at honeymoon, most beaches have a food truck with limited menu and bar to grab food and drink -Best excursions: lime out floating taco bar, Lind point trail hike to honeymoon beach (1 mile not too difficult), shopping at Mongoose Junction-Get groceries at Dolphin market no too far from the villa -Will definitely be back, St. John is absolutely beautiful and relaxing

Amazing views!

My wife and I went to St Thomas for the first time to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We wanted a very special place to stay. Betty and Harley have such an amazing place and are such kind people. They had a bottle of wine and flowers for us upon arrival. The cleanliness and high end linens and comfy bed was so nice. They provide you with beach chairs and a cooler which is a plus. All of the cookware was great. I would highly recommend staying at Villa 459 if you a couple going to St John. The deck over looking Chocolate Hole and St Thomas are great.

With backgrounds in graphic design/book keeping, and construction/real estate development (respectfully), villa 459 is the second property developed by the couple, after villa Arc du Soleil, built in 2008 and sold in 2015. This was a very successful rental located in the Virgin Grand Estates on St. John. Betty & Harley have leveraged their experience, to create villa 459, with your pleasure in mind.
