King sized custom, handmade log bed with 12” memory foam mattress. Second bedroom is on the main level with a queen sized, custom, handmade log bed and furniture. The bathroom has a pocket door for on-suite to the bedroom or open up to the public space for guests.
Outdoor features, include screened in porch with picnic table and (propane) grill. Sit on the porch and use the (propane) outdoor fire pit for evening entertaining. Hot tub on the porch has easy access thru the double sliders on the main.
The sun, stars and moon all have an amazing effect on this home. On a starry night bring your Star Walk II or Planet Finder app to see all the constellations and planets in the western sky. Just about every night there is an amazing sunset.
Lots of local attractions nearby and easy to access. Paddle at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, ride the Smoky Mountain Railroad, play at Harrah’s’ Cherokee Casino and Multi-tainment Center and much more. As you can tell from the pictures of the amazing mountain views this cabin is higher in elevation. The roads are well maintained but due to the incline and the gravel roads we do require AWD or 4WD vehicles. If this Cabin is not available check out our other property in the same community! GREAT! Smoky Mountain getaway

Still can't get over the spectacular views that this property offers. The cabin itself is great, and had all of the amenities that we needed for a fun anniversary week, but the views, though! Enjoyed the area hiking at deep creek and clingman's dome, white water rafting the nanthahala river and riding the Great Smoky Mountain railroad down the Tuskasagee river. Getting to the cabin was it's own adventure, as it routed us in and out via the tail of the dragon (not so much fun in an offroad truck), but glad we had our Ram Rebel to get up the seasonal type road/driveway to the cabin. 4WD is definitely a must! Definitely plan to come visit this area again, and hope the bratlett cove properties are still available!!!

Wonderful cabin with amazing an view!

My husband and I vacation in this area several times each year and by far, this was our favorite cabin. While the drive is steep (the listing indicates you need 4 wheel drive and you do!), it was worth it. Definitely need plan to arrive during daylight hours for navigational purposes.Quiet evenings, starry night skies, beautiful sunrises over the mountains, and the elevation was high enough that we actually had snow on our last night! The cabin is very well maintained, management was very responsive to messaging, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Love Bryson City

We enjoyed our six day stay at Dream Catcher. The cabin was as advertised with amazing views. Wonderfully appointed and not cluttered. The October weather was perfect, a little cooler than usual but we enjoyed the cold front. The cabin was very private and secluded. Land is being prepared to build more cabins so the mountain road is getting more use which has caused ruts, AWD/4WD is necessary.

Cabin was very clean and the views awesome, you will need a 4x4 to get there if not you will be disappointed, we had some issues which didn't make us happy, there were no instructions for the gas grill, fire pit or TV, no emergency numbers to call, no info for restaurants or things to do in the area, we had 1 blanket for 2 couples, told the host but never got another one, they do skimp on supplies so bring your own toliet paper, paper towels, soap for dishes and dishwasher, trash bags, they give you enough for 2 or 3 days after that your on your own according to the host, you would think when you spend 2000 for a week they would do a better job with that stuff, rented in that area for at least 12 times and that is a first, needless to say we would not go back to a host that skimps on supplies there are alot of other cabins to choose from. Also cooking in the house was difficult cause the smoke alarms went off everytime even when boiling eggs, the grill would ony light to the first setting so couldn't grill. other then that we had an awesome time and made the best of it.

Great mountain retreat

The Dreamcatcher is everything you would expect from a cabin! The views are spectacular! The cabin was clean, except for an ice cream box left in the freezer from the previous occupants and the air filters looked as if they have not been replaced in ages.

Girls mountain getaway

Beautiful and exceptional cabin! Lots of thoughtful touches. Gorgeous view. AWD a must! Would have liked directions on how to work both tvs, but we figured out how to watch the Olympics which is what we wanted. Needed better instructions for the fire bowl. Overall a fabulous vacation and cabin!

Pros- The view is truly amazing. You have a great view of the sunset from the hot tub, fire pit, and the swing. The cabin is very nice and well kept. The area is so quiet that you could hear birds flying by. It is very dark at night, and the stars were beautiful. This is a perfect cabin to sit on the porch, drink a cup of coffee, and watch why the Great Smoky Mountains get their name. Watching the smoke rise from the valley was beautiful. Cons- The fire alarms in the kitchen are super sensitive. We kept the bathroom and bedroom doors closed, as instructed, while we were cooking. But each night while cooking we still had to fan away smoke that we couldn't even see away from the detectors. We ended up having to put a portable fan in the kitchen just to blow air away from the detectors. Also, randomly Saturday night, the lights over the kitchen island, the loft, and the porch lights all just came on at the same time. I'm not sure if there was a power surge or what, but it was worth noting. Not a huge Con, but also worth noting, you will need 4WD to make it to the cabin. Don't try it without it, trust me :-)

4 Wheel Drive Required

Great property but - the literature said a 4 wheel dirve was recommended. It should say - "a 4 wheel drive is required" due to the hazardous and steep road conditions getting up to the cabin. We had to park our car about a half a mile down the mountain and walk the rest of the way to the cabin. Remax told us who to call to rent a vehicle but were not helpful in assisting us. Sort of left us on our own. A 4 wheel drive is absolutely essential for this property.

WASHED OUT MOUNTAIN ROADS

Amazing view is constantly changing. Beautiful cabin is in the clouds, and very clean. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. Cabin, driveway and property very well maintained. Sewage smell outside of cabin after every shower. The cabin lights automatically shut off at 1:00 AM....we did not realize we would be assigned a bedtime. Very disappointing as we were up enjoying our vacation. The road to the cabin is NOT a maintained road. It was partially washed out with deep ruts. The cabin is at 3000 feet, so steep was expected but not a two track with deep ruts. We had 4 wheel drive, but was a bit more than us retirees were looking for. A HUGE THANK YOU TO BART AND ANN FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE. Could not ask to meet better folks anywhere!!!

Beautiful home

We have stayed there many times and absolutely love the peace, and beauty at this home, and looking out over the mountains. Relaxing place with everything you need, wonderful hosts!!!Be mindful of the home being up on the mountain. If the gravel road gets washed out, it can be tricky to get up really steep grades to the home. Wonderful little break, we will be back
