Wonderful living space
Our group was spread across two cabins. We rented this property for use by 3 couples. Our 6 grandchildren, aged 5 through 11, stayed in a nearby cottage with their parents. When the grandchildren visited, there was plenty of space to play in the yard, swim, or walk on the path. If it rained, they could watch videos in a separate, carpeted (great for dulling the sound) living room on a large-screen TV. We adults could enjoy the other large living space surrounded by windows, in cozy couches, with a table for puzzling. The kitchen was remarkably stocked with high-quality pans, matched glassware and dishes, and modern applliances. The washer and dryer were brand new. The gas grill was also fairly new with gas provided. The rooms were tastefully decorated. We saw no spiders the whole week. The only improvement we'd love to see is a bigger shower.

Lovely property and neighborhood!
We had a wonderful stay here, and would rent again! The home was clean and had everything we needed. The home had more beds than we even needed!! Beautiful sunrise views!! The neighborhood was really neat and we enjoyed walking on the walking trail out front!

All around wonderful ✨️
We were able to spend a great week with extended family. We enjoyed fishing, tubing, trips to the sunken island, swimming, board games and family meals. DJ made is gel welcome and quickly addressed all our questions and the few minor problems during our stay.

If your loud this is not the property for you
Overall, this property and property owner were great. Dan showed up on the first night and asked if everything was ok and wanted to share his phone number in case we had any issues. He never bothered us again after that. I was very concerned with the weather because if it was going to be a really hot week, this property does not have AC. Turned out it stayed in the 70's most of the week so we got lucky. Our first night was the hottest and it was pretty miserable so I would recommend window AC'S at least be in the bedrooms. Screen doors did not slide so we had to shut the glass doors. The windows throughout the house need to be cleaned as they were very dirty and full of cobwebs. Location was absolutely beautiful. The only thing I want to warn renters about is if your family or friends are loud, this is not the property for you. I read a few reviews that the neighbors were nice, however, this is not the case. The first night we were there we decided we would stay indoors to keep somewhat quiet. We have not seen each other in a while so I knew we would be loud and laughing. We were playing games with our teens and music a a little loud. It was so hot inside we had our windows open and the neighbor called the police a little after midnight. The officers were great and just asked us to keep it down some but continue our fun. We enjoyed the rest of our week and then on the last night, we were having a fire and again at about 12:30, they called the police again. We were not even that loud this time. The two officers said they stood at the top of the hill and could not even hear us but because someone called they had to come and ask us to keep it down. They did thank us for being great and told us to continue to have fun. They also said they didn't understand why they got a call. So my warning is if you have a loud group this is not the property for you but if you have a nice quiet family, then it will be perfect.
