Our tiny home tries really hard to be as wonderful as the cedar tree it sits next to. It even dressed itself in fancy cedar siding and lathered itself with tung oil. And although its efforts may have failed (it s hard to top mother nature), a definite theme has been born. Runner-up names included Hail Cedar! and 20,000 Leagues Beneath the Cedar.

The bicycles are especially nice, because there are awesome neighborhood venues within a leisurely ride. Plus, the neighborhood itself is cute and quirky and fun to cruise around. More on that later. For now, on the tiny house:
It's tiny! But it doesn't feel that way. The light colors, many windows, and high ceilings help to open it up and create awesome vibes. The loft holds a queen-sized mattress, which sits low to the floor on tatami mats. There is a full bath with a rain-down shower, air vent, and cloth curtain door. There is a fully functional kitchen, with gas stove and microwave. There is a cozy living room with desk/table and a futon couch. Plenty of cabinet storage and a half-length mirror inside the cabinet door.
Items for daily living abound: fast wi-fi, Mrs. Meyers soaps, Everyone shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, towels & bed linens, a full set of quality cookware and knives, electric kettle, small coffee maker, French press, a selection of teas, Trader Joe's dark roast coffee, wine glasses and wine opener, champagne glasses, pepper grinder, kosher salt, olive oil, etc. If you are in need of anything, just ask!
The house sits on the front left corner of our property and is surrounded on three sides by a privacy fence. The front faces the driveway, which is where you'll pull up and park (left side). In effect, because of the tall fence, guests have an entire property to themselves. In your enclosed outside space, there is a patio with ambient lighting, furniture & a hammock. There is also a BBQ grill and a lean-to shed with bicycles. Lastly, there is a backyard shed with a washer and dryer.
Easy, keyless entry. A motion light that comes on if you arrive at night.
