Alex, our ski-in and ski-out Stemwinder condo is truly a game-changer for a winter getaway! It's a bonus to have easy access to the slopes. We are glad to hear that the location worked out so well for your stay. We hope to have an opportunity to host your stay again in the future. -Casago Snowshoe Team
Upstairs areas, were fairly nice and accurate as per the pictures. However, the living room was quite small, and the kitchen was tiny, the ability to even use the table in the kitchen was very limited based on this space. Location was very good overall.

Andrew, thank you for sharing your feedback! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the location. We appreciate your comments about the living room and kitchen space, and we understand how the layout may have been a bit limiting for your needs. We do provide photos of the entire condo. We hope you had an overall great stay and would love to welcome you back soon!
Best Regards,
Linda/Casago Snowshoe
Cant beat the location. Owners have tried to do the best they can, but very limited seating and space to hang out for the amount of beds. Be prepared that everyone will be up at same time with the very loud creaky floors.

Thomas, thank you for the review and feedback. We will pass your comment along to the homeowner. We hope to see you again in the future. Casago Snowshoe Team.
Overall we had a wonderful trip. It was clean and an extremely good location. I will echo the sentiment of some other reviews, small living room, creaky, loud floors. I did have issue with a few small things for the price we paid. There were no pot holders, salt and pepper, or any food storage containers. I meal planned and brought all the things I needed for those meals but I never expected these listed items to be missing. I had to go down the mountain to dollar general for Tupperware. Also notably missing were games. Not everyone on the mountain ski’s and it would have been nice in the down times for our family to play some provided games. Again, not a deal breaker but we are a family that enjoys playing games together and anytime we’ve ever rented it’s fun seeing what games they have to play. So all in all good stay but those small things would have been nice to have.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review. We’re really glad to hear that you had a wonderful trip and enjoyed the cleanliness and location of the home — that means a lot to us.
We also truly appreciate your honest feedback. We understand how frustrating it must have been to realize certain kitchen items like pot holders and food storage containers weren’t available, especially after planning your meals in advance. We will certainly pass along your suggestion to the homeowner about adding food storage containers to improve the kitchen setup for future guests.
Regarding salt and pepper, we completely understand the expectation. Unfortunately, we’re not permitted to provide consumable items due to liability and local regulations, which is why those items are not supplied.
Thank you as well for the suggestion about games. We agree that having games available is a great option for families during downtime, especially for those not skiing. We will also suggest to the homeowner that games be added to enhance the overall guest experience.
We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We hope to welcome you back again in the future!
Check in process was ok. The cards to access the parking lot for the property were not included in our check-in package but after great communication with the host we were able to get the cards. This was a little frustrating with the cell service available on the mountain.
The house itself was nice and at a very convenient location. It housed all of us comfortably and had a lot of fun. The parking situation was little bit confusing but we eventually figured it out. The only complaint that I have is that one of the extra blankets in the closet was not clean because we found a used bandaid stuck on it. Other than that the rental was a great.

Victor, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your stay at our Stemwinder property. We're glad to hear that the condo was nice and in a convenient location, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all of you. We appreciate your understanding regarding the parking situation and are glad to hear that you were able to figure it out. However, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cleanliness issue with one of the extra blankets. This is not up to our standards, and we will address this with our housekeeping team to prevent such incidents in the future. Your feedback is valuable, and we're committed to making your future stays even better. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to have an opportunity to welcome you back to Casago Snowshoe. -Casago Snowshoe Team
Location is excellent. Very convenient to the slopes. The property is comfortable and cozy. We had a great time.
I wish there was a better way to check in. After skiing all day and ready to get into the home, we had to travel 15 minutes down the mountain to pick up a check in package. Then travel back. It took more than 30 minutes to get into the place. It would be much better if there was a keypad and a lockbox at the property instead. I hope the property manager considers making this update.

Thank you for staying with Casago! We are glad you appreciate the place. We hope to host you again in the future.
Everything was good until an ice dam was formed on the back porch and water leaked into the bottom floor. I called several times to inform them of the issue and maintenance never showed up. Housekeeping did show up with extra towels to help combat the water. Overall we enjoyed the property and would come back.
Comfortable for four adults, two teenagers, three children, just enough space, great access to slopes, lodge and Big Top equipment rental.
