The house was extremely clean and in a great location. We were in a town for a wedding and split the house with 2 other couples and we each had our own space on separate floors so the privacy was nice. The wifi was a bit spotty, but otherwise it was a perfect house.
Lake Glenville has the most amazing fall colors, and the property is stunning. We ended up choosing the peak week for color. Our granddaughter is at WCU, and she was able to visit with us while we were there. You will love the property and the area. Don’t forget to take a detour off of 107 to see the Judaculla rock.

Kitchen needs a baking dish. Usually we don't need one, but this trip we did some entertaining and could have used a glass casserole dish. Our stay was completely relaxing, just what we expected.

Beautiful house. Lots of clutter. Needs cleaning.(just 1 example. Actually found a styrofoam cup under a bed). Windows in 1 bedroom had NO covering, another bedroom had broken blinds. No view d/t trees.

House was beautiful!! Very peaceful. Only downfall there was not curtains for the door for the master bedroom. So there was not any privacy! But we had a wonderful time along with our children. Would love to come back bext year.
I was traveling solo, so the house was very large for just me. I stayed in the downstairs suite, which has a full kitchen, a 1/2 bath, a king bedroom with attached bath, and the living room. My favorite spot was on the screened in porch early in the morning and late in the evening. I loved the night sounds, and the sounds of the birds first thing in the morning. The porch faces East, so I enjoyed the sunrises to the music of the mountains. Beautiful furnishings and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in.
The location was magical especially with all the fall colors. We had a great time. Plenty of towels in each bathroom for all of us (family of 7). We ate most meals here during our stay so we ended up buying salt (there were a few other spices there, thank you!) and applied for an Ingles grocery store discount card. I did leave that at the cabin in case other families might want to use it in the future when they stay as it’s the closest grocery store to the property. The covered porch is wonderful. The view is amazing. Our little boy even made friends with the neighborhood dog. My older sons loved fishing in the lake and walked down to the dock every morning and evening and the nearby hike to the waterfall was gorgeous.
First off the property broker team was excellent. Sundog was an excellent property communicator, And had genuine concern with the issues I presented them. The good - A lot of house for a reasonable price. The reality - the property is very dated. Unfortunately, the property needs serious maintenance done. All the gutters were clogged, which caused rain to flow off the gutters and into the covered porch area. The other comment I would make about is the stairwells are tricky! The stairs are very shallow. The steps are very narrow as in front to back. I had to almost walk down the stairwell sideways so I could get my entire foot on the steps. All and all it’s a very large beautiful home which is dated and lacks proper upkeep. The entire time we stayed there we commented on what a shame it was because it’s such a beautiful home and yet lacks modernization and proper maintenance. It’s a decent value for the size of the home. Also, the road to the property is very steep right at the end and we were glad we had a huge SUV to get up To the property.
Pleasant spot to enjoy Lake Glenville & the mountains
Loved the Lake Glenville/Cashiers area & the house's large screened porch with a nice, secluded view. We had a lot of fun chasing waterfalls while hiking - check out High Falls and trails at Panthertown Valley - and pontooning with a rental from Signal Ridge. Most of the bedrooms were very comfortable, but we had two teens who tried the bunk beds, which weren't, and the foosball/game table was a little worn. There are 2 kitchens - the one up top is much better outfitted, so unload your groceries up there. Couldn't find a working can opener or hair dryer, and the TV situation needs updating, but we enjoyed our stay and were glad to find a comfortable spot last minute in such a neat area. This location could work well for two groups who are vacationing together.
We enjoyed our stay in this house. It is especially well-suited for two families traveling together with the full kitchens upstairs and downstairs. If you're looking for a quiet escape to the mountains, this is a great place!

House was very peaceful just what we needed for a getaway.
About 30 minutes from grocery stores very mountain feely. Hikes, fishing, and falls were located just around the corner and the most beautiful scenery ever!
