About the host
Hosted by Danny and Joni Scott
My husband and I were married in August of 2006. The day before our wedding my husband agreed to purchase (without telling his future wife) this house from his family. In October of 2006 the purchase was finalized, and we began renovations! Our first weekly rental reservation was made in the mist of the renovations February 2007, at that time we had no windows in the house. The reservation was the driving force to complete the renovations in just 8 months.
My husband Dan was born and raised in Northport, and I grew up in Northern Michigan, and moved to Northport in 1998. Danny has owned his own business since 1999 as a Builder, and I am the Village of Northport Elected Clerk since 2010. We have three kids, twin daughters and one son.
