Serene southwestern style custom home in SW Reno NV. A great location within minutes of downtown nightlife, skiing, hiking, and many exciting events. Enjoy the Reno Rodeo, Artown, Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, Barracuda Championship PGA Tour Golf Tournament, Hot August Nights, Burning Man, Best of the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off, The Great Reno Balloon Race, National Championship Air Races, Street Vibrations and much more!

This home has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to make your special meals. A double oven, microwave and a large refrigerator will make you feel right at home. You will find pots, pans, crock-pot, platters, cooking utensils, spices, and condiments at your finger tips. There is a pantry, family games, and a few extras for your convenience.

The living room is large, sunny and inviting! A gas fireplace, TV, DVD, stereo, surround sound, internet, and large windows will make your stay enjoyable and memorable.

Everything was perfect! Welcome bowl of fruit was a great touch and we loved that the house was decorated for Christmas. A home away from home! Although the house seems older it was clean and comfortable. The house had everything you needed and more, and with everything labeled it made it easy to navigate around the home with ease. One recommendation from our senior parents....rails leading up to the home in garage and possibly front door would be helpful. We would gladly use this home again in the future.

We've stayed here twice now when visiting Reno/Tahoe. A great base, very clean, well appointed, and with a big backyard for kiddos. Overall, a wonderful place to rest when not running around the city.

Our family spent a long weekend here as we celebrated our daughter’s graduation from UNR. This beautiful home was perfect in every way! Fully stocked with all the amenities and was even better than in the photos. We loved our stay at La Choza and will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in are Reno!

This house is amazing! The owners have done an amazing job filling it with things needed for everyday living from kitchen items to bathroom items. The location is quiet and cozy. This is our 2nd time staying here and will return when visiting Reno. Thank you for the great hospitality.

La Choza is a great place to stay in Reno

My wife and I along with our daughter and teen aged grand daughter spent the weekend at La Choza. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood yet only a few miles from the airport, downtown and all other Reno amenities. It's spacious and extremely well furnished - especially the kitchen where all drawers and cupboards are labelled with the contents. There are also private outdoor spaces to enjoy. The house is just like the pictures on the vrbo website. The owners provided fresh fruit and flowers which were much appreciated. We will be back if we need accommodations in Reno for an extended stay.

Reno Volleyball Residence

We stayed here for the volleyball tournament that was in town. The house was super clean, had more than enough accommodations such as towels, bath supplies, dishes, refrigeration, a nice big garage, secluded driveway and too many more to list. Better than the listing

We just stayed at La Choza Amorosa for a family reunion in Reno. The place was better than it looked in the listing! Lots of little touches (basket of fruit waiting for us, Aveeno shampoo and conditioner in the shower, etc.). Everything was very clean and felt like we were staying in a nice hotel. The backyard was bigger than we thought, perfect for the kids to run around. The TV room is enclosed with glass walls and doors, so the kids could watch a movie while the adults stayed up playing games in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

You will find happiness and relaxation in this beautiful atmosphere. We have always enjoyed the great patio for BBQs and to relax during the day.

We love the Reno area! We have lived here most of our lives and enjoy the variety of easily accessible activities. We enjoy the hiking, skiing, concerts, and annual events offered within minutes of our home. Reno is surrounded by beautiful scenery, mountains, and lakes. Our proximity to mountain and desert landscapes is extremely unique. The turquoise beauty of Lake Tahoe is magnificent in the Sierra Nevada Mountains but so is the spectacular beauty of Pyramid Lake located in the mystic Nevada desert. Reno is “The Biggest Little City in the World.” The casinos, outdoor adventures and over 300 days of sunshine are perfect for your travel adventures.
