Lovely place and excellent location.

I would definitely stay here again. Super clean and conveniently located. Only downside is the music from the deck of the Lighthouse.

We have stayed at The Residences several times because it’s the perfect set-up for a family with two teenagers (their own bathroom being key!). It’s clean, we enjoy the pool and the location is great—easy walk to the beac and bay. We had a poolside room this year, which I wouldn’t do again, only because I enjoy the view of the bay. If my children were younger the poolside room would’ve been great.

The unit is uniquely situated. The Residences are literally incorporated as part of the Hyatt Place Dewey Beach - and it takes some navigating to travel from the garage to the unit (for the first time and once more after that.) That being said, it is a wonderful "get away" from the hectic nature of Dewey's main drag which is full of neon, activity, music and people. Our unit faced the pool. Not my first choice fearing that we'd hear endless games of "Marco-Polo" while sitting on our patio but, alas, the families enjoying the pool were well supervised and not rowdy or inappropriate. (Yep - judge me if you'd like but when I get away, I want to be away from the noise and commotion of family life.)The Residences' pool, hallways, garage and other common areas were very clean and tastefully decorated. I'll happily return.

Great unit

We enjoyed our stay and this unit and would go back again. We have stayed in that complex before and this is a great unit. It is on the pool level and has an exit directly to the pool. The unit and its furniture are in good shape. The owner could do a little better on the small things - the coffee filters are the wrong ones for the machine, the bath towel are past their prime and are pretty rough, and mainly, the blinds in the main bedroom do not block enough sun.

Great time!

The condo was great! Very clean, nicely updated, and comfy master bed. Pool was right outside our patio door. One block to the beach. We are not partiers but if you are this would be good for you too since there’s a lot of bars around.

We had a great time! The property was clean, well stocked, and in a great location! We loved having the pool right outside our door, the bay right down the steps, and the ocean right across the street! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Quiet and relaxing mini vacation

We have been to the Hyatt Dewey Residences thru the hotel before and aware of the property, but this is the first time using VRBO. The condos are so wonderful to stay in and has just about everything one would need to stay. The attached hotel has an indoor heated pool, which we have previously enjoyed, but this time it was very cold when we went down to check it out. The improvements made to the lighthouse deck with the nightly sunset was spectacular and a must do. Of course, the surrounding area Dewey and Rehobeth have multiple places to eat and things to do. We also relaxed in the condo with the gas fireplace as well. We love the area off season and hope to return this winter. Communication with owner was great and we highly recommend this property.

Perfect location

My friends and I had a great weekend staying at this condo. The 6 of us slept comfortably but I think if we had anyone else it would have been tight. It’s walking distance to all the bars and restaurants and across the street from the beach. The walk out to the pool was so nice. My only complaint is there was a lot of sand on the floor when we first got to the condo and there were a bunch of flies that we couldn’t get rid of. Also the condo didn’t have much toilet paper. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.

Location is perfect for all things Dewey! Loved that our condo was poolside. Bayside beach was a perfect spot to watch the fireworks.
