Villa Koumaria, a small corner of paradise overlooking the Ionian Sea

Homer says in the Odysseus epic tale, that Ulysses rested in Sivota before going back to his kingdom in Ithaca after his long journey. Local legend? Actually it is really difficult to not succumb to the charm of this quiet port. The hospitality of the Greek people and the delight of their food, turn this place into a true paradise.

The villa Koumaria is only few minutes from the port, through a small road into the hill. Surrounded by olive trees, overlooking the sea and the mythical island of Ithaca, the villa offers amazing view. The villa is built in an ideal location on the island. You can find peace and quiet, or places near by to do sports (sailing, windsurfing, quad, VTT) and have fun partying. Ideal for teenagers too, who can feel independent and safe at all times.

The villa can accommodate 9 people, family or friends, who wish to holiday in a unique setting, and a luxurious and contemporary home with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and cleaning services (twice a week).

# OUTSIDE

A large terrace surrounded by flowers and white stone, a 6x4m infinity pool, an outside shower and a great barbecue area close to a wide wooden dinning table in the shadow of the pergola. An olive tree provides shade to a more secluded siting area for those who want more privacy. This place is also ideal to enjoy your evening aperitif.

# GROUND FLOOR (terrace level)

The house is designed to offer an open sensation: through the large windows, your sight is shared between the sea and the beautiful garden. Villa Koumaria is fully equipped (TV, satellite, DVD player, WiFi Internet connection), and offers an open layout kitchen also fully equipped, with a bar and stools.

Two rooms with a bed of 180 x 200, each with its own toilet, one with a bathtub, the other with a shower. There is an additional WC near the kitchen.

# FIRST FLOOR

Large open room with 3 beds 90 x 200. Ideal for children.

# FLOOR -1

(the house is built on a hillside and has 3 levels with 2 accessible through the garden.)

A large room with 2 beds 90 x 200, which becomes a bed 180 x 200 for a couple. Large shower and WC. This room is perfect for couples or for teenagers. Room accessible also from the garden.

Laundry with washing machine and ironing board.

# OUTSIDE GARDEN

A small siting area like a shelter near the house allows to isolate themselves from the noise of the pool and the terrace. Surrounded by flowers of bougainvillea, lavender, laurel and roses, this space is a true green tranquillity for those who want to nap.

# ACCESS

The villa Koumaria is 2.5 km from the port of Sivota, its taverns and shops. 4 minutes by car, 15 minutes on foot.
Kindly note that the last kilometers to get to the villa are unpaved.

Kindly be advised that the owner of the villa has done all necessary proactive disinfestation, always in line to the environmental laws for the protection of the natural life. However the property is located within the beautiful natural surroundings and contact with insects or small animals (eg stray cats, mice, reptiles, flies, mosquitos, ants etc) cannot always be prevented.
