Adorable home w lake front- Paddle boats & kayaks ava, and 2 bathrooms!

This property was remodeled and is lovely!

This cozy house is located on over 1/2 acres of land so you don't have neighbors right on top of you, and you don't have to walk to a park or a beach. The shore is mainly sand with some pebbles. Many properties in the area have a muddy lake bottom, but you can walk into ours a ways before hitting mud!

There are 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen with a charcoal grill outside, and a living room with a fireplace to relax in or kick back in the air conditioning in the summer, and a garage for your toys.

We have yard games, board games, books, kayaks, paddle boats, a large TV, internet, and a blue-ray player so you have lots of entertainment at the house. The sandy shoreline is perfect for wading in during the summer months, and the lake is perfect for year round fishing, including ice fishing in the winter There are also many snowmobile trails in the area.

The house is located just 2 blocks away from a gravel boat launch! There are 14 bars and supper clubs around the lake and over 10,000 acres of water to enjoy. The activities are abundant in the area such as golf, a pool, parks, farm tours, bowling, the drive-in theatre, wine tastings, or stock car races. There are also activities in the city of Madison, Milwaukee, and Wisconsin Dells to discover.

The local townships around the lake, as well as both Dane and Jefferson counties, now require that the host has the name and address of the guest booking the property.

This home is just over 2 hours to the Chicago area, or about 20 minutes to Madison, Janesville or Fort Atkinson, so you won't spend much of your precious vacation time driving. The Anchor Inn is nearby to rent a boat if you don't bring one.

Peaceful get away

Stayed here for 3 nights with my teenage kids. Was perfect for a family getaway. Loved being on the lake and took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boat. Lots of restaurants close by and the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for cooking in as well. House was so clean and had everything we needed!

Cute, clean updated house with a large backyard. Well equipped with everything we needed. The boys liked fishing down at the little beach area. We ate at the Lily Pad just a block away. Tammy was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our mini vacation.

Great Koshkonong location

House was clean, well stocked with both essentials and water toys, and conveniently right on Lake Koshkonong. Our kids and dog loved the easy beach access for swimming. Town needs like gas, groceries, and boat rental are less than 15 minutes away and the Lily Pad Restaurant is a 5 minute walk. Communication with Tammy was very fast and check in/out painless. We would return again and definitely recommend for a pet friendly family weekend.

The property was perfect and house was clean. I appreciated all the extra blankets and bedding. The house has everything you need to cook even spices. We all loved all the lake toys from the kayaks to all the different floats and even yard games. The yard and private beach was great for our dog. Our dog could walk in and out of the lake at her leisure. My teen boys had a blast fishing all day and even at night. We all had a great time, cought lots of fish and left with great tans!! Perfect getaway from city life.

Our family of 5 stayed at this lake front home for the weekend. We enjoyed the easy access to the lake, kayaking, paddle boat, fishing and all the yard games. It was exactly what we were looking to do for the weekend- enjoy the outdoors with some water sports! The house was very clean and well stocked. Our only issue/reason for 4 stars instead of 5, was there were so many mosquitoes around the home, so naturally they would enter the home. When we first arrived on a Friday evening, the house had several mosquitoes already throughout the house. It was a bit off putting, however the rest of the house was clean and we spent the majority of the weekend outdoors.

Nice Lake Stay

Very much right on the lake and the interior decorating of the house was very smart and polished looking, made good use of the space. We enjoyed it! Took the paddle boat out on the lake, it was very relaxing.

Quiet, Relaxing, and Peaceful

Our stay was just as the title describes! Clean, cozy home with enough room for 4-6 people. Beautiful view of the lake, sunrises and sunsets were awesome! Host was responsive, kept us informed of any changes or happenings we needed to know about. Thanks for a great stay!!!!

Fantastic

This was a great property with a lot to do on-site and out and about. Place was very clean and had everything we need. We barely had to leave the property but to explore. Would definitely consider this place again.

Dog friendly 2 bedroom

Property is clean and appears to be newly renovated. All the appliances are in working order. Check in and check out process fast and easy. Tammy over communicates (that's a good thing) and readily answers inquiries. Plenty of furniture indoor and out. Nice deck for bird watching and such looking at the lake. We did use the two kayaks. The Lily Pad tavern is just a walk away, lively and friendly crowd. They had music every evening for Memorial Day holiday. We had a nice uncomplicated stay.

Relaxing stay

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it’s just perfect for a relaxing get away. Beautiful view of the water, great fire pit, updated comfortable house, everything we needed was provided. Tammy is always super quick to respond. We’ll be back next year.

Beautiful lake side property!

The place is small, but was great for 4 people. Lots of nice touches like an extension cord in the garage that we used for a fan on the deck. The lake views were wonderful from the deck. Being able to walk to a restaurant/bar was fantastic. Tammy was very quick to respond to my questions both before and during our stay.

Relaxing and tranquil

Weekend Getaway

Tammy's property is the perfect size for 2-3 couples. The house has been nicely remodeled and has everything you need inside and out. We took full advantage of the kayak's, paddle boat and floats. A short walk to Norm's is totally worth it. It was quite buggy but if you keep up on the spray they won't bother you as much. Would definitely come back.

Post Covid/19 Get Away

Our first trip anywhere in a year. The cottage was decorated beautifully. The lake was sparkling with sunshine. The cottage was truly immaculate. We relaxed, enjoyed wine on the porch and lakeside. Shopped in 2 nearby towns. My husband got a fishing guide and caught so many fish-Walleye, Crappie, Sauger, Bass and others.Thank you for sharing this lovely getaway. Clean, decorative, easy to rent!!!

Adorable Lakefront House

Our family of six had a wonderful time renting this adorable lakefront house. It was gorgeously updated and had all the amenities you would need. There is a huge grass area before the lakefront. The lakefront is rocky right in front of the property. We were thankful for the sandy beach to the south and adjacent to the property. Tammy explained that part of this beach is theirs and part of it was a public beach, but it is so secluded we were the only ones on it. It was a great place to put the kayaks safely into the water. The kayaks were definitely a bonus to the house and were one of the reasons we booked this property. The beach was sunny until early afternoon and then was covered with shade. We were thankful we brought some beach chairs so we could sit on the sand with our feet in the water. We are curious what future updates will be made to the beachfront directly in front of the house. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay where we got to connect with our adult children.

HUGE Yard -- our 3 kids (age 10-14) played football while my husband made a fire in the fire pit right near the shore. We listened to music and danced the night away. In the day time -- we were out in the kayaks and paddle boat and fished (brought our own fishing supplies). Then hit up Lily pad for Thursday night Bingo (5-min walk),and my son won 20. A carefree, relaxed, wonderful 2-night stay. Thank you Tammy!

Why they chose this property

The house needed a lot of work, which is a challenge that I love to take on when I find a home needing major TLC. However, the deciding factor was when I saw the view of the lake. The 130' of water front across such a big lake just melted my heart, and I'm sure it will do the same for you.
