I know you were so thrilled when you got there that you asked me to adopt you so that you could stay. :) Unfortunately the cleaners missed cleaning the sofa which I addressed with them immediately, again when they cleaned, and it's now a permanent reminder on our cleaning checklist. Being thrilled with the stay is what we strive for, and I'm very sorry that is not the experience that you had based on the sofa needing attention. As mentioned, my pesticide is professionally managed, so I was surprised when you said the bugs were that bad. I mean it is a lake, which means bugs, but not as bad as you mentioned. That's why the first thing I asked is whether you had the outdoor lights on, which you said that you did because they'd been turned on by mistake with 6 people there and you weren't sure where to turn them off since you'd missed the label on the light switch. I did check with the guests that checked out the day before your arrival, since they had been there for a week and should have had the same issue if the flood lights being on was not the problem. They did not have a bug problem, so it was likely the fact that the flood lights were left on that drew the bugs to the back of the house. This is a 2 bedroom house with just a queen bed in the master, a full and single bed in the 2nd bedroom, and a sofa bed. I've had plenty of people sleep 6 there that were fine with it, but I understand that can be tight when traveling w/adult friends.
