Beautifully remodeled in 2025, this cozy condo offers a perfect blend of proximity, luxury, and comfort, making it an ideal destination for a tranquil getaway. Impeccably maintained and lovingly adorned, our property is a true haven for nature lovers and those seeking a serene escape. This unique property is the perfect location for scuba divers, snorkelers, or anyone looking to spend time on Roatan.

Studio units have a kitchen with oven/stove, quartz countertops, and beautiful handmade Honduran wood furniture.  Dining table, comfortable queen bed, private bath with large walk in shower, and private balcony with view of mangroves or mangroves and pool.
Imagine starting your day with a leisurely stroll through the charming seaside town of West End, where you can discover delightful restaurants and tiki bars, local gift shops, and multiple dive operators all within easy walking distance. Or hang out in the recently added swimming pool overlooking the mangroves and the bight. There is also a private dock where you can enjoy a morning coffee or an afternoon cold beverage.. Or take the complimentary kayaks out (we have 2 singles and 1 double) for a paddle through the crystal clear waters of Roatan. Inside the unit, you'll find a warm and inviting ambiance, embracing the island aesthetic without compromising on modern conveniences. This studio unit provides a restful sanctuary after a day of diving or exploration. The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you will need (4 burner stove with oven, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, refrigerator) allowing you to prepare delicious meals with ease. Afterward, savor your culinary creations on your private balcony surrounded beautiful views, towering trees and warm island air. Bask in the tranquility of nature, listening to the gentle sounds of birdsong and feeling the stresses of everyday life melt away. Whether you seek a diving adventure, or a rejuvenating escape with a partner, this wonderful property offers the perfect setting. With its idyllic location, charm, and amenities, it promises an unforgettable experience amidst nature's splendor, where the ocean, restaurants, and shopping are just a leisurely walk away.. All utilities, AC and bottled water are included at no additional charge.

This is your own private unit which is on the 1st floor of a 3 story building. Each unit has a private entry. The pool, dock, and BBQ are common areas shared by all 6 units. Each unit has a private balcony with a table and seating.

Our units come fully equipped with everything you need from cooking utensils, to linens, towels, beach towels, dishes and glassware and the list goes on. We also provide all the essentials to get you going such as: 4 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, one bottle of dish soap, one bottle of hand soap, one bottle of shampoo, and one bottle of shower gel. Please note that we do not refill these items. If you need more you can pick some up at Woody's grocery mart right down the street.

Place is so well located to enjoy the West End but removed enough for quiet time when you’re ready to chill! Just minutes walking to great restaurants street food, beach, dive shops. Picked up right at dock for fishing trip. Cool pool and lounge areas, gardens and mangroves.

Great location!

The property is well maintained and had everything we needed. The property manager helped with all details, like airports pickup, groceries, etc. When you arrive, there are more ideas for restaurants, activities, etc. Everything seemed walkable. The pool was nice to sit by and take a refreshing dip.

We stayed in West End over the holidays and loved the location of this rental. It is ideally located near beaches and restaurants but far enough if you want some quiet time. It is exactly as described and the pictures are accurate. It is perfect for couples. You have everything you need and a local grocery store is a short walk away. We visited different areas on the island but were always happy to come back to West End. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely stay in this area again. Perfect Roatan Accommodation!

My first visit to Roatan and this was the perfect accommodation. The unit was very clean and stayed cool, which I appreciated. The location was great, only 5 minutes to a grocery store, restaurants, taxis and great snorkeling right off the beach. The hosts were helpful and timely. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I required an extra night. I sent a message to Michelle and Jeff , they responded immediately and provided a solution. I have recommended Casa Canuck to friends and will stay there when I return to Roatan. Thanks for making my vacation a success. Cheers, Allison

Excellent location for enjoying the West End

This building is in a prime location for experiencing the West End. Everything is within a short walking distance, day or night, and if a larger beach is what you're looking for, West Bay is just a short water taxi ride away. The room is not large, but it has everything you need to cook if you want to. We only had breakfasts in the room, because there are too many good options for street food and restaurant dining in the West End. Why cook? You're on vacation! The room has a great bed for 2 and a great shower with plenty of hot water. This house is in the best location for kayaking or paddle boarding on this part of the Island. We brought our ISUPs, and enjoyed sneaking out through the mangroves into Mangrove Bight for morning paddles. There was a good location to store our boards while we were there. We used the provided kayaks a number of times when the wind was up a bit, and they were great. When the weather was real calm we paddled through the reef channel and tied to a dive buoy and went snorkeling. The snorkeling there was as good as any of the diving we did while we were in Roatan, and we did a lot of diving! There are many many good dive shops in this area, but we chose Roatan Divers close to Gingers Restaurant, and I highly recommend them. A very professional operation. The only downside is the mosquitoes. For the first 5 days of our vacation, there was only a few, but for the greater part of the vacation we couldn't sit outside in the morning to eat our breakfast, so we ate inside. It didn't matter much though, because we were out after breakfast doing stuff. While out on the water we were never bugged out. Overall an excellent stay with excellent experiences! We will definitely be coming back to Roatan!

Do I really want to tell the truth?

What a perfect place for the price. This is one of those places that you don't want to tell everyone how great it is because you want it to be available for your own convenience. This place is five minutes away from the action, but far enough to feel like you have gotten away from it all. Although it rained the entire time I was there, it was still a lovely respite. Luckily, the Internet was working well and I had a book on hand. Deanna had several recommendations for places to scuba dive and tours-all of which were excellent. I will definitely be coming back to actually see what Roatan looks like when it is sunny out. Thank you Deanna for getting me a taxi at the last minute. I was surprised by how expensive food was at the restaurants, so having a kitchenette really cut down on costs and was perfectly stocked with the necessities in the kitchenette to cook a decent meal. The only complaint I would have if I could possibly have one in paradise would be accessibility to a tv tray to eat meals on, otherwise, this place was just the perfect place for me. Thank you so much! Will be back for sure!

Casa Canuck exceeded our expectations. It was super clean, had nice linens, comfortable bed and pillows, and plenty of towels. We enjoyed the deck which allowed us to have our breakfast outside while enjoying a breeze. Casa Canuck has the perfect location. A five minute walk to the Westend for restaurants, grocery, dive shops and beach. We also enjoyed the dock in the back of the property which sits over a causeway. It was a quiet place to sit and enjoy the view. We appreciated the Kayaks on the property which we paddled around in the causeway. Everything was perfect in this quiet and serene rental. Would definitely come back. Thank you Casa Canuck!!!!

As we have gotten closer to retirement age we had been searching for a Caribbean destination to call our own. After many vacations searching for just the right place we finally returned to Roatan where my husband had visited as a teen. I had heard many stories of the summer he came to the island, fishing, diving, snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. From the moment, we stepped off the airplane, all the fond memories of that summer in Roatan were confirmed. We had found that special place here in Roatan. 2+ years later from our original purchase of Casa Sierra (half of the building), we bought out the other side, Casa Canuck. We are happy to have been able to expand our little piece of paradise and welcome you to come share it with us!

Why they chose this property

Aside from the charm of the island, the reasons we picked this property were simple, we loved the rustic charm and village vibe of West End. We also loved the fact that you are just a few minutes walk to the grocery store, bars, restaurants, shopping, diving and snorkeling. The snorkeling in Half Moon Bay is world class and only a few minutes walk from our place. If you want to go to West Bay beach, ranked in the top 20 beaches in the world, for the day, you can take a 5-7 minute water taxi ride for a few dollars per person or a land taxi for a little more.

What makes this property unique

Casa Sierra and Casa Canuck suites are nestled in the trees like a giant tree house, we have a dock out through the mangrove to the bight and open to the sea. You can take our complementary kayaks, sit on our great dock or walk a few minutes to Half Moon bay beach. There is no need for a car here in West End, as everything is within walking distance.
