We had a wonderful time at Kenna's gorgeous home! Everything was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The views of the river and mountains were stunning and the sound of the river was incredibly peaceful. We really appreciated all of her prompt communication and the little details at check-in, like leaving us a bottle of wine and some snacks. We'd highly recommend this property and would love to come back!
Perfection! Owners were great to communicate with. The layout was nice for our son to have the game room, he played the Wii for hours. All the little extras in the kitchen helped us prepare the food we brought. Morning with coffee listening to the river and watching the chipmunks was our favorite. Close to Grand Lake and the activities we had planned. We would stay here again.
What a great, well-appointed cabin. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future. The host has thought of everything and includes a very detailed information packet leading up to your travels. Five Stars!
Beautiful is the only way I would describe this cabin. It comes with everything you could possibly need for any occasion. Not only that but the owner was so very nice and helpful 5/5 would definitely recommend and will be going back!
This is one of the coziest cabins we've stayed it. It was spotless inside. The hostess was phenomenal and answered every question promptly. The property was close to the town of Grand Lake and Grandby. The sounds of the river were relaxing. We're considering coming back in Summer.
Our host was very welcome. She invited us to check in early and had many amenities I haven’t seen in other VRBOs such as coffee, creamer, and sugar. The property itself was beautiful and very comfortable. The location was very conveniently located close to town but also quiet and fun. I will definitely go back the next time we visit.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us! Kenna is a great host! Very quick response times. The cabin is in a great location, it is very warm and inviting. It is in a quiet location and is stocked with everything you could need for your stay. It is very clean and well taken care of. We hope to stay again this summer and enjoy all of the outdoor activities. Thank you again! Curt
This is our 2nd time to this VRBO. We love it! It’s close to everything we wanted to do. And the outdoor space is fantastic. We especially loved the outdoor covered patio with the fireplace. And the night sky was amazing! It was so relaxing and just what we needed! We highly recommend this place.

About the host
Hosted by Kenna
Hello, I'm Kenna! Our family has called Parker, Colorado home for over 20 years, and Grand Lake has truly become our beloved second home. We fell in love with this area because it offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We designed our cabin to be the ultimate four-season launchpad. When we aren't busy back home, you can usually find us up here escaping to our own "Lil' Piece of Heaven." Depending on the time of year, we are out hiking, fishing, boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, sledding, or snowmobiling. More than anything, this cabin is our favorite place to host extended family and friends, creating memories that last a lifetime. We are so excited to share our home-away-from-home with you and hope it becomes a special place for your family, too!
Why they chose this property
We completely fell in love with the timeless, nostalgic charm of a 1960s Colorado cabin, but what truly stole our hearts was the location. Having the Colorado River flowing right through our backyard, watching the Never Summer Mountains change colors at sunset, and experiencing the thrill of daily wildlife encounters made it impossible to resist. This neighborhood offers a rare, peaceful slice of authentic mountain living where you can truly disconnect, yet you are still just minutes from the magic of downtown Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. It genuinely felt like finding our own little piece of heaven, and we knew we had to share it.
What makes this property unique
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome you to our freshly renovated mountain retreat! We have poured our hearts into creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow, designing a space that feels incredibly cozy and comfortable on the inside, and completely inspiring and relaxing on the outside. What truly sets our property apart from any ordinary cabin includes:
The Soundtrack of the River: The sensory experience here is magical. You will fall asleep and wake up to the natural rhythm of the Colorado River—from the powerful, roaring runoff of the spring to the soft, peaceful whispers of winter. It is a natural melody more beautiful than we ever could have dreamed. The
Quintessential Alpine Atmosphere: Picture pairing the sounds of the rushing river with a warm, crackling fire under our outdoor gazebo or beside our covered patio bar. It is the Colorado Rockies at their absolute finest.
Front-Row Wildlife Watching: Because we are situated right on the water, the local wildlife loves our yard. Watching an occasional moose meander down to the river bank right outside your window is a common occurrence here—an unforgettable, bucket-list experience most folks never get to see!
