Bear Creek Lake

The house is beautiful inside. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked. Having three bathrooms is a plus. I would definitely rent this home again.

Nice time in Jim Thorpe

My family had a fun stay in the Poconos. The house met our expectations. Favorite parts were the deck and the fire pit. The weather was gorgeous so we enjoyed the outdoors. The lake and the pool provided plenty of entertainment.

Wonderful stay!

We had such a nice time connecting with family this weekend at your home! We had 12 adults and everyone fit comfortably in the house. There were plenty of beds, and the living area was great for hanging out. Plenty of parking, and neighborhood was quiet- took a lovely walk together down to the lake! New Year’s Eve getaway

Our family had a great getaway at big blue cabin! Easy booking process, a great house for a large family the living space in the great room and porch was comfy and spacious. The master bedroom and bathroom is beautifully done .Our grandchildren enjoyed all the games, piano and amenities. A great house to be altogether and enjoy the beautiful views and make memories!

Great House in the Poconos!

Breath of fresh air!

Our family was looking for a peaceful getaway and this house was above and beyond what we were hoping for. There is a great variety of activity and ways to relax within the walls of this house. Fantastic place

My wife and I spent 2 nights at this wonderful place. It is a beautiful property with plenty of sleeping space , a great area for families to hang out with a great game room ( nice pool table and foosball and other stuff). We loved the cozy feel of the place , despite being very spacious. The place was very clean and comfortable and the owners communication was great. We would stay again any time . 5 stars! For sure.

Big Blue was really liked by our family

We pretty much liked about everything with Big Blue. The grandkids loved the community pool. There was privacy and the yard was great for all of us to have outdoor fun. The rooms were big and specious so we could watch one thing on TV in the main room and something else in the game room. Everything was great.

Jim Thorpe trip with family huge fun!

My sisters and I were looking to take our 80 year old parents on a nice weekend trip. We decided on Jim Thorpe, PA, and were happy we did. Our Big Blue cabin house was perfect - it was only about 10 mins away from JT and it was very spacious with 2 large living room/family room type areas on the main floor. My family likes to play board and card games and we did a lot of that at the house later at night. Loved the huge driveway - fit all 4 of our cars easily. We didn't get to enjoy it but it had a great wrap around porch with picnic tables and lounge chairs. The town was awesome too - would've like to have one more day.

Guys ride south

Every year our group of guys take a motorcycle trip for a long weekend. This year there were 10 of us ranging in age from early 50's to mid 60's. We decided to ride around this part of PA and I selected the Big Blue Cabin and it was perfect for our needs. It had enough beds for each of us to have their own bed and enough baths to handle the group. When we arrived the place was as advertised and all the guys thought it was great. If we decide to ride in that area again I'll definitely try to bilk this place again.

A fantastic place for a group getaway

This place worked so well for our family of 8, and Darci was super-responsive. The living space is huge and comfortable, and the house is one of the cleanest rentals we've had in the past few years. The brand new back deck was perfect for morning coffee. You're within walking distance to a beach for swimming and volleyball, and a short drive or walk to the pool. We highly recommend picking up some ice cream at Wood's in downtown Jim Thorpe, and enjoying the amazing view (and a live rattlesnake) at the end of the Tank Hollow Trail. The 3.5 mile roundtrip hike is short five minute drive from the house, and fairly easy. But wear long pants just in case!
