2 Bedroom Strand Townhome with A/C, Rooftop Deck and Parking. Walk to Beach Life

This 2 bedroom, one and one-half bath unit is two levels with hardwood floors, quartz counter-tops and ocean views from the living room and both bedrooms. There is a kitchen with a breakfast bar (seating for three - no separate dining area), living room and powder room on the first level. The L/R has a bay window with a counter and four chairs so you can eat a meal, drink your coffee or work on your computer while enjoying a panoramic view of the beach and ocean. We call it the "sand bar." There is also a 54' ROKU TV so that you can sign in to your streaming services. There is no live TV. The second level contains two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and a private washer/dryer. Bedroom 1 has a queen size murphy bed that easily converts to a desk if you need another place to work. The second bedroom has two twin beds with pillow-top mattresses that can be combined to make a king size bed. There are no TVs in the bedrooms. Additionally, there is a 'bed in a box' in each bedroom which is basically a beautifully hidden cot. The rooms are a little crowded when the beds in a box are opened so we don't recommend counting on them for use on a regular basis.

From the second level you go up to an amazing rooftop deck with a teak table and four chairs as well as two teak steamer chairs (the deck is shared - but just with us and we seldom use it).

This unit is set on a beautiful beach with sand volleyball courts and a lifeguard stand directly in front of the unit. Surf or paddle board right out front or jump on the Strand and roller-blade, bike or skateboard on the twenty-mile path stretching from Redondo to Venice Beach and Santa Monica. It is just a 5 minute walk to Pier Ave. where you will find amazing restaurants, the Comedy Magic Club and AVP Volleyball tournaments.

We provide linens and beach towels and are happy to let you borrow our boogie boards, beach chairs and beach umbrella. Sorry, no bikes or BBQ. There is free WIFI as well as a CAT5 internet hookup. There is designated off-street parking for one car. We had one guest who came for a month-and-a-half and stayed for almost two years and a second guest who came for six weeks and stayed for 14 months!

Small pet may be considered with an additional deposit and cleaning fee.

We love our neighbors! This unit is for quiet residential use only. As such, quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am and no events are permitted. We have a strict no party policy - maximum fines will be charged for any violation. There is no smoking of any kind (including marijuana), either indoors or outdoors, anywhere on the property. If any signs of smoking are detected, the guests agree to pay a $300 violation fee.

Bookings at this property are nonrefundable. No refunds will be made for any part of unused days after arrival date. Separate travel insurance is recommended.
