Located just 6 miles to the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. This property gives you two rentals for the price of one: a single level main house and a two-story guest house. The spacious private parking area and quick access to the extensive UTV/ATV trail systems make this home perfect for those wanting to bring a toy hauler with all their own toys. The coziness of a lodge, mixed with luxurious bedding/towels, and sprinkled with adventures and fun! This place has something for the whole group: Take a breath-taking walk right out the front door through the National Forest or stay in and relax! We also provide some fun outdoor toys to help everyone burn off some energy! We hope your group loves this place as much as we do!

This is a pet fee home. You will be charged a $1000 fine if you bring a pet into this home.

Fox Main House:

2-bedroom, 2-bathroom single level home with a modern kitchen. Spacious living room with two couches, recliner, gas fireplace, and flat screen TV. Perfect for relaxing after a long day. Primary bedroom suite with a king-size bed, TV, and ensuite bathroom offering a walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 also comes with a king-size bed, and bathroom just outside the door. The fully stocked kitchen will make cooking your favorite meals a breeze. The large back yard with Weber grill and patio furniture is perfect for enjoying a summer evening BBQ.


Fox Guest House:

The two-story guest house is the perfect addition to this already amazing property. Downstairs you will find a sitting room and game area for everyone to enjoy. Play a board game at the card table, have a friendly free throw competition, or just sit back and watch an evening movie. The upstairs features two bedrooms, both with queen-size beds separated by a sliding barn door. The guest house bathroom comes equipped with a large bath for soaking, dual sink vanity and private access to both queen bedrooms.

Please note this home does not have AC. Most homes in Montana do not have air conditioning. We encourage our guests of Shepherd Family Retreats- Fox to open the windows at night to enjoy the cool evening temperatures and close those windows during the day (including curtains/blinds) to keep cooler air inside the home. For your safety, please only open windows when you are present in the home. Additionally, homes will have fans located in the bedroom closets.

Yellowstone National Park Operating Dates:
The West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park is open seasonally. The summer season typically runs from the 3rd Saturday in April until November 1st. The West Entrance then closes from November 1st until Mid-December. The entrance then reopens for the winter for oversnow travel season. The oversnow season typically runs from Mid-December until Mid-March. The entrance closes again until the opening day of the summer season in April. These dates are subject to change, please confirm park operating dates prior to booking your stay.
