Elk Crossing is a cozy mountain retreat just 8 miles from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, offering stunning views of Lionhead Mountain and easy access to a wide variety of outdoor adventures. Whether you're exploring Yellowstone, hitting the trails, or relaxing on the deck with mountain views, this home is the perfect base camp for your Montana vacation.

Up to 2 dogs are considered with owner approval and a pet fee. Please inform us at the time of booking of the age, weight, and breed of the dog(s) you are planning to bring. If approved we have a $70 pet fee per dog per week.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
- Primary Suite – King-size bed, private deck access, mountain views, and a spacious ensuite bathroom with a walk-in rainforest shower and large jetted soaking tub.
- Second Bedroom – Queen-size bed, located on the opposite side of the home for added privacy.
- Third Bedroom – Two twin beds, perfect for kids or additional guests.
- Shared Full Bathroom – Tub/shower combo located between the second and third bedrooms.

KITCHEN & DINING
- Fully Equipped Kitchen - including a smooth-top electric range, ample cookware and serving ware, and extras like a crock pot, blender, and electric mixer.
- Dining Table – Seats 6 comfortably.
- Breakfast Bar – Additional seating for 4.
- Back Deck – Outdoor dining table and BBQ grill for alfresco meals with a view.

LIVING ROOM
- Gas Fireplace with a rock hearth
- Flat-screen HDTV with satellite service

Our group travels a lot and we all agree this was one of the cleanest and most well appointed places we’ve stayed. It was extremely comfortable- we felt at home right away. We really enjoyed the location that was calm and not loud or busy, but also close enough to West Yellowstone to be convenient. We would absolutely recommend!

The place was great and very cozy! Loved the soft sheets, big shower, well equipped kitchen and the view. It was also so close to West Yellowstone that it wasn’t a big deal to run into town for something.

The property is located in quiet neighborhood, conveinent to West Yellowstone and the entrance into Yellowstone National Park. The house was clean and well equipped. It even came with a Moose and her new born calf in the backyard one morning. We highly recommend this property for your base into Yellowstone and surrounding area.

Beautiful home

This home was gorgeous and the perfect fit for our family of four. Stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful views and nice neighborhood. Far enough away from the crowds in west Yellowstone but close enough to drive in to town or to the park and enjoy.

Montana getaway close to the National Parks

The house was like home (the beds were so comfortable!) and had everything we needed. The location was great. Close enough to the parks without being crowded or touristy. Check out the view of the stars! There was also National Forest trails and fishing everywhere nearby. We went to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and saw bears, elk, bison, eagles, and other animals, as well as amazing geological features.

Everything we needed

This hosts provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay in the Yellowstone area. The kitchen was well-equipped allowing us to cook most meals at home and they even thought to provide bear spray and bug spray! The furniture was very comfortable for lounging after a long day exploring the area. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Beautiful House

The house was beautiful. One of the best things was that we could use the garage. It snowed over 18” while we were there - the snowblower was wonderful as well. If we head back that way we will stay there again if available.

Very easy to drive to the park from this location. House open with lots of light and good separation of bedrooms for two couples. Wish the arrival time was 4:00 p.m. instead of 5:00 p.m. instead of 5:00 p.m.

Loved this cabin!

I've stayed in several cabins in West Yellowstone, and this one ranks high on my list. I'm extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness; this cabin was immaculate. I loved the placement of the windows, the floorplan, the layout of the kitchen (so much counter top space!), the sectional sofa and gas fireplace - all of these elements added up to a cozy, memory-making stay. We will be booking this cabin again!

Spacious yet homey family Montana getaway with beautiful views and location

My husband, 3 boys and dogs had a wondeful stay here! The ranch, complete with garage was SO easy to unload our gear and let the dogs out. It was the last stop at the end of our 5 thousand mile journey, and it was perfect. The home had wonderful wood detailing, a lodgey feel and beautiful kitchen. It was a bit dated, but that didn't impact anything. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the back deck was perfect to enjoy mountain views and the wildflower "river" around the house. It was close to West Yellowstone and the West Yellowstone National Park entrnace, without being inside all the congestion and population. It also had a great rodeo just down the road and close to Lake Hebgen as well. The beds could be more comfortable, but that was our only negative. The check in was easy, everything was as advertised and the owner/management company was great to work with. Highly recommend!
