New Log Home - blocks from the West Gate of Yellowstone


A great addition to the, Yellowstone rental market, this hand built log home was completed June 1, 2015. The three bedrooms include one queen bed in the main floor master bedroom, two twin beds in the second floor bedroom, and king plus twin bed in the very spacious basement bedroom. Also, a full futon is located in the basement family room. There are three full bathrooms, two on the main floor and one in the basement. I have two other cabins on the property next door with over sixty 5 star reviews. We use professional chemical free steam cleaning and fragrance free hypoallergenic detergent.

Great location to both in town activity and park entrance. The cabin had plenty of room and some of the best quality sheets, towels , paper towels . Was well equip in the kitchen needs for the 4 of us.Only ask would be some additional hangers and or hanging hooks for bedrooms. Great experience.......Thank You!

We were hoping to stay in a cozy cabin for a few days in West Yellowstone with our college kids and our youngest child that just graduated high school. This cabin was perfect for our needs. Enough bathrooms, comfy beds, adequate space, close to the West Yellowstone entrance, all the things we needed in the kitchen… it was perfect! We planned to spend some of our time in Grand Teton National Park or we would have stayed in this cabin longer. The ambience and cleanliness was everything we had hoped for our trip!

Great place!

Location was great for us to be able to spend all day in the park and then come to town for food and shopping. Cabin was clean, beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed.

Off-season fun

Used this property as base for a spring snowmobile trip. Nice cabin for 4 of us to spread out and each have a bed and the 3 bathrooms. Justin was great at communicating and accommodating to our request of an additional night. We were bummed at a number of restaurants having closed for the winter season but still found good eats. All in our group said we would stay again!

Beautiful cabin

We stayed with our daughter and her friend. There was more than enough room for 4 adults. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed using the adequately appointed kitchen for meals. We loved the outdoor space as well and the coin laundry facility was clean and convenient.

Great place

This was an awesome place to stay! Close to the West Yellowstone Park entrance and within walking distance of most of the restaurants and shops in town; lots of space; very comfortable; and with a great check in and check out process. The host/owner was very friendly and accommodating. The parking lot is tucked back behind the building, so make sure you follow the instructions from the host and don't just use Google Maps.

Awesome property and location

Great place to stay for a 3 day Yellowstone trip. Cabin is beautiful and spacious. Very nice for lounging around after long days at the park. Having three bathrooms is super nice for getting ready in the mornings with teenagers. Kitchen really well stocked compared to most vacation rentals. Location is ideal - 2 minutes to park entrance and less than 5 min to anywhere in West Yellowstone. Would definitely stay again!

The cabin was everything we hoped. It was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Four of us stayed at the cabin. We all loved it. It had all of the amenities we could have wanted and more. It was clean and new and lovely, and was located close to everything. Justin, the owner, was wonderful, answering all questions and helping out whenever necessary. There was plenty of room for us, and the place could have accommodated even more! I would love to stay here again.

I’m a clean freak and get easily weirded out if a place I’m staying is the slightest bit dirty. This cabin was spotless. It’s also nicer than the pictures led me to believe! The kids loved the 2nd floor room with 2 twin beds and I ended up sleeping in the basement king bed bc it was really comfortable. All 3 bathroom were stocked with towels and the kitchen had everything we needed. It’s also right on the edge of west Yellowstone so close to the park entrance. The owner lives nearby, and we happened to see him out and about but he isn’t intrusive. Great communication before and during the stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This log cabin was ideal for our group. It is three levels with sleeping options on each. Everyone has their own space. The kitchen was very nice and equipped for cooking. The ice chest was nice to use while driving through the park where food options were limited. The parking is directly next to the door to the cabin which limits time exposed to snow and rain. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The sheets were very nice. The pillows were comfortable. The option for stand up shower or bath tub was nice. The heater worked very well. It was nice to have access to various platforms such as Prime and Netflix to relax in the evening. Overall, this accommodation was perfect.

Very nice house. Bedding was very comfortable. We didn’t cook during our two night stay but the kitchen appeared to be well equipped. We had two adult couples but there was plenty of space for another couple. Overall it was a great place to stay and the host was very quick to respond to a couple questions we had.

My full time job is to rent these cabins and make my customers enjoy their stay while visiting Yellowstone. I've lived in the area for 20 years.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with the two cabins which were original to the property. Montana and Yellowstone go hand in hand with authentic log cabins. After painstakingly restoring the two original cabins and having lots of success renting them through HomeAway, my goal was to build a new cabin, but in the same style as my older authentic ones. The result, an incredible new home with all the feel of the original.

What makes this property unique

There is nothing like a real log cabin. My cabins are warm and cozy, well thought out, and truly authentic. Plus, the cabins are located in town just seven blocks from the West Gate of the Park. Most visitors underestimate the amount of driving that's needed when visiting Yellowstone so its nice to have good lodging right outside of the Park. We also have two other log homes on site.
