Wonderful stay and opportunity for peace and quiet. Although on the property shared with another building, there were no other visitors or guests which really allowed us to disconnect from the world and sleep with peace in mind.
The location is fantastic and the view from the bedroom to the lake is lovely. I’ve seen in several reviews that the television doesn’t work, which is true - it would be nice if that could be addressed, but otherwise no complaints!

When we got there the house was not clean. Trash on kitchen floor, used towels on floor in bathroom. Bed wasn't made, sheets not clean, kotex on bed. Contacted host numerous times via phone. Unreturned calls. Terrible host.
Wonderful weekend getaway! Cozy cabin and responsive host. Definitely recommend!

Cozy little spot in Highlands. Good location. TV was not good. Never could find the cable channels and the streaming was spotty. No instructions for checkout. Grass in the back down to the lake needed cutting.
We loved the place. Better than pics. We did see a bear right next to the railing so keep your eyes open. We were a little surprised that we sent four different questions to the owner…one prior to booking and three after booking and they only responded to the last one but too late to help. Maybe we did something wrong? We would stay there again.
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for in a quick weekend trip. It was exactly as described on a relaxing portion of Mirror Lake. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and conveniently located to downtown Highlands and multiples hiking trails. We enjoyed our stay!
We love Highlands, and this location was perfect. Close enough to town, but distant enough to get away from the crowds. It's a bit worn inside, but that lends to the woodsy mountainy vibe we were looking for. Would stay again!
