needs a bit of maintenance

lightbulbs not functioning outside the pool should be heated the mattresses are not up to the standard of this type of property the closets in the bedroom smell this house should have air conditioning maybe good enough for europeans but not for americans

A little gem steps away from the bassin

The house is very spacious and comfortable. The Kitchen is fully equipped and you won't miss anything there. The outdoor space is fantastic and you will be able to enjoy the sun from the sunrise till very late at night which makes the pool even more enjoyable. The location is just perfect, walking distance (about 5min) from the market, all the shops (bakery, grocery store, wine store...) and the bassin but still in a very quiet neighbourhood (you won't hear any noise appart from the birds). David and his daughter Caroline have been extremely kind and helpful along the process. Everything has been very smooth and David gave us lots of helpful advices and amazing recommendations about the area (things to do, best restaurants, where to taste oysters or get some fresh fish...). They also left a bunch of toys which our two years-old loved playing with. I would totally recommend this place and I am looking forward for another great stay at David's place.

Great Location - Property Needs Updating

I wouldnt normally leave a review when a property is dated and in need of updating, it was disappointing but we didnt let it ruin our holiday and of course we would never return here. The photos and description are probably accurate from a number of years ago but the reality is that this property is run down and needs refurbishment and new equipment. I now find myself leaving this review due to the fact that the owner has messaged saying we broke a sun lounger and left the place in a terrible state. This is not the case, pretty much all the remaining sun loungers (there were much more in the old photos) are rickety and falling to bits as is much of the equipment in this property. Towels and bed linen are very old as is much of the kitchen equipment. We left the property in a perfectly good state and decided we would not leave a review as it wouldnt be good for the owner if we left an honest review. We took a lot of photos and a couple of videos of the property whilst we were there which we are glad to have done especially since I received a message from the owner demanding 200 euros so he can replace his already broken sun lounger. No review was the best he should have expected considering the standard of his property.

Quelle belle maison !

Le temps n'était pas propice, mais la maison vaste, bien organisée, bien chauffée, s'est avérée parfaite pour un temps pluvieux et froid même avec de jeunes enfants. L'accueil fut charmant, les lits faits, tout était prêt dès notre arrivée pour un séjour qui fut plus qu'agréable. Moi qui aime bien manger ai apprécié la cuisine vaste et pratique. Nous n'avons hélas pas vraiment pu profiter de la piscine en raison des conditions climatiques, mais la qualité de l'environnement a largement pallié la pluie. Et puis... quel calme ! Pour se reposer c'est idéal. Alors que les commerces ne sont qu'à dix minutes à pied, la plage aussi. J'aime le côté de ce bassin d'Arcachon, j'aime Le Canon où ce n'est pas notre premier séjour, et j'aime énormément cette location qui fut parfaite pour nous cette année.

Traumhaus

Wir haben mit 6 erwachsenen Personen im Juni in diesem Traumhaus Urlaub gemacht. Die Lage des Hauses ist wunderbar zentral gelegen, Umgebung fussläufig zu erreichen. Check-In war gut organisiert und Monsieur Sultan ist sofort behilflich und erreichbar, sollte etwas zu erledigen sein. Das Haus bietet alles, was gebraucht wird und mehr. Der Pool ist ein Traum und noch schöner als auf den Bildern, den ganzen Tag in der Sonne. Wir würden immer wieder hier Urlaub machen ! Nous avons eu tres bon vacances a cette maison tres belle. Monsieur Sultan est tres gentil et tout que nous avons eu besoin de est la. Merci pour des vacances tres agreable. Desole pour mon francais.

Villa très jolie et bien située mais à privilégier l'été uniquement

Villa conforme aux photos et à la description. Très agréable à vivre. Propre et bien située. Attention cependant, le wifi ne fonctionne pas donc pas de possibilité de regarder la télé sans passer par votre ordinateur personnel ou de travailler. Et la consommation électrique est limitée donc quand on a le chauffage + des appareils élétroménagers en fonctionnement, les plombs sautent. L'accueil reste à améliorer; la personne qui devait nous accueillir est arrivée avec plus d'1/4 d'heure de retard alors que nous avions prévenu 1 heure avant notre arrivée comme demandé - donc assez pénible quand on a fait 8H00 de route et qu'on est pressé d'aller faire les courses avant que ça ferme. De plus, le chauffage avait été réglé au minimum donc la maison était gelée. Propriétaire très compréhensible au deumerant et disponible (par téléphone uniquement). Je pense qu'en été la maison doit être parfaite car pas ces inconvénients là (si ce n'est le wifi).

Désolé, je comprends que votre séjour n’est pas été des plus agréable.. des trombes d’eau se sont abattues juste avant et pendant votre séjour sans interruption. Avec de telles intempéries, les baisses de tension électrique sont fréquentes et de surcroît, augmentées par un changement récent de compteur. Pour la Wifi, des travaux étaient en cours sur la Presqu’île en raison de l’installation de la fibre et de la 5G.. Tout cela est vérifiable. J’ai l’habitude de recevoir mes hôtes entre 11h et 15h.. À 18h, un lendemain de Noël, je n’ai trouvé que ma femme de ménage.. moi même habitant à Aix en Provence.. c’était plus sympathique que de vous laisser les clés sous le paillasson.. Sejour très agréable

La maison dispose de tout pour passer une semaine de vacances réussie (Équipement, propreté, localisation au Canon). Le propriétaire a été présent du début à la fin pour répondre aux questions et s’est adapté à notre horaire d’arrivée. Je recommande sans problème!

Des vacances de rêve, dans un cadre splendide! La maison est très lumineuse, confortable, agréable et très bien équipée. Elle est parfaite pour les enfants, comme pour les adultes. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et joignables pour toute question. La maison est très bien située, près des commerces, du bassin et de la plage. Nous y retournerons avec hâte!

It was the fourth time for us in Le Canon. The house is just perfect. Everything you need is there, the pool is just beautiful and you have sun the entire day. David and Monique are very nice hosts, always there if you have questions and through the entire time very helpful. Hope to be back next year :-)

Super séjour !

Superbe villa parfaite pour une famille nombreuse. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié d'avoir tout à disposition, du lit parapluie à la poussette canne en passant par le linge de maison, le lave-linge, le sèche linge et même les seaux et les pelles pour aller à la plage ! Parfait pour voyager léger quand on se déplace avec de jeunes enfants. Les commerces, la forêt et la plage sont tout près. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil chaleureux. Le beau temps était au rendez-vous, nous avons vraiment passé un séjour de rêve. Nous reviendrons !
