Sunset Rentals | Captains Walk 416

If beach strolling is one of your passions, look no further for the perfect island accommodations. This 2 bedroom and 2 bath Captains Walk villa is located on the 3rd floor of building one. New wood cabinetry and marble counters can be found throughout the villa.

This beach villa has a living area with plush yellow and blue sofa seating. A full wall of glass invites the breathtaking ocean views into the space. Step outside onto the balcony to breath in some fresh sea air. One of the sofas pulls out into a bed for extra sleeping space and there is also a TV/VCR/DVD. Gather the family around an elegant wood dining table with seating for 6. A newly renovated kitchen completes the living space.

The master bedroom features a breathtaking ocean view and has a king bed with white wicker details. A TV and private bathroom with tub/shower and vanity sink fill the space.

The second bedroom is spacious with two full beds and pastel coloring. A full bathroom is just outside this room in the hall and features a tub/shower.

Vehicle Policy: Palmetto Dunes is a secured community and requires each vehicle to have a car pass. Passes are charged per car per week.

Palmetto Dunes is a 2000 acre oceanfront resort that reaches from the 3 miles of white sandy beach, through 11 miles of lagoons, 3 golf courses, and 25 tennis courts, to the bikeway under highway 278 that provides access to the Shelter Cove Marina, shops, restaurants, and Mall.

The Captains Walk oceanfront complex has an on-site pool, a kiddy pool, a cabana, a sun deck, and a boardwalk to the beach. Pool is heated March 1st - April 30th and October 1st - November 30th.  All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex.

Check-in instructions will be sent via email at least 10 days prior to check-in once the Rental Agreement is signed. If your stay is within 9 days, or lesser, from the time of booking, the instructions will be sent via email as soon as the Rental Agreement is signed.

Great property and location

This is a great condo with a beautiful view of the ocean. We are beach people so it was great to have short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped. The only feedback I have is that the owners put up room darkening drapes in the primary bedroom. It was difficult to sleep beyond day break and when on vacation, I want to sleep beyond 7 AM. We also struggled to find a temperature that wasn't too cool or hot in the primary.

My only complaint is the cleanliness, floor not swept, living room coffee table full of smears, finger prints same with sliding glass door. needed to clean to relax.loved the extras for starters garbage bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, shampoo,lotion,conditioner,2 rolls tp. thank you.

416 Captain's Walk - Beware

Very disappointed with the property, which prompted us to leave a week early: 1) Plumbing issues with the 2nd bedroom shower 2) Burned out light bulbs 3) Slam the front door to close 4) Broken sliding door handle 5) Handyman and plumber making 4 repair visits during our stay 6) Rust stains on the exposed side of the fridge 7) Owner should have invested in a Keurig, so we bought one 8) Carpet corners curling up causing a tripping hazard 9) Extra placemats on top of the fridge were covered with dust 10) Overall poor fit and finish. This is the first time we stayed somewhere and requested a refund for the second week. You should consider inspecting the properties you’re representing, because it’s a reflection on you. This condo exemplifies the owner’s only concern is profit. Great view and a really good ironing board and iron!!

Fantastic property. Clean, large rooms, easy beach access. Great beach views from balcony and master bedroom window. Only minor criticism is that we needed more TP, and sheets for bed in master bedroom were too small for the bed and kept coming off.

For what you pay for the week - the mattresses are the absolute worst! If you know anything about the hospitality industry-beds can make or break your stay - this unit was the worst - we have stayed in a lot of these units - but I would not recommend!
