Absolutely amazing place to stay! Conveniently located just close enough outside of the town to still be able to enjoy all things inside Las Cruces. From the sunrise to the nighttime twinkling lights, you almost don’t want to leave! Bobby was an amazing host with lightning fast responses, the best we have ever had! Pool table, hot tub, and a cozy home - what’s there not to love?

Beautiful place to stay near Las Cruces

Loved our stay. Great amenities. Amazing kitchen for cooking meals for our group. The house’s location provides a nice amount of seclusion while still being 15-30 minutes from anywhere in Las Cruces. Would consider staying here again (when not staying with family).

This house is designed for large or multi families. Every room is spacious. 3 bedrooms designed for privacy. This house sits on a cliff overlooking the city and mountains. Very private property. Host is very accommodating and helpful. So glad we stayed here.

Spectacular Views

We had trouble with VRBO, but the owner was available and helped us out. Beautiful location, great towels/linens, and wonderful hot tub! The house had everything we needed. I would stay again!

What a great place. Love the views and enjoyed the privacy. The house is great with all a person could. (nick pick: pots & pans not great). This is the best VRBO property we have ever stayed in. The location is exquisite.The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. It is thoughtfully stocked with every amenity you could ask for. It is peaceful and relaxing especially from the vantage point of the hot tub which offers panoramic views of the valley and pecan trees below. The owners were generous and responsive. This property is highly recommended!

Million dollar views

Bobby was a very attentive host. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The house is located in a very secluded spot, but is close to town. There are fantastic mountain views in all directions, including from the beautifully located hot tub. Attractive desert landscaping surrounds the house.

A very neat house. On a Mesa with great views. Very private and the hot tub right on the edge for the best view. Very comfortable, and well stocked with kitchen ware. The only two flaws are that the ice maker is tiny and can’t keep up on a hot day and the TV systems were hard to figure out. As the house is away from anything there is no choice and the owner walked us through enough steps we could explore and learn. But the location is so fantastic that it was worth it!

This is gem of a home. The remoteness is romantic. You must drive through a pecan orchard to reach the driveway. It's on a hillside, very private. The photos do not do justice. The views of the Mesilla Valley at night rival the sunrise views of the Organ Mountains by day. Tranquility and solitude galore.The house is beyond lovely. Spotlessly clean. Three HUGE bedrooms, bigger than the photos. The Spanish tile floors are beautiful. Hot tub is pristine, serviced weekly. AC worked great. WiFi internet speed is top of the line. The owners call it a "hacienda," and with its character and amenities, it certainly is.The owners are exceptional. Great instructions on using the technology (projection televisions, WiFi, sound systems), helpful information about the region, local restaurants, etc.During our stay, the hot water heater failed. Owner had the best repairmen on site within hours. Problem resolved, and owner bought our group a nice dinner just to compensate us for the minor inconvenience. Great support and service for the guest.All the best shopping, restaurants, and bars are within minutes. At the hacienda, you can "get away from it all" and still have the best of Las Cruces and Mesilla nearby.

wonderfully relaxing place to stay

The house was wonderful. The view is AMAZING! 10 days there was what I needed to refresh my batteries after spending 3 months self isolating in San Antonio and teleworking everyday!!!! The hosts were extremely responsive - they even added several items to the kitchen for us so that my nephew and I could do some baking. When asked if they had a slow cooker, instead of telling me no, they ordered a new Instapot to add to the kitchen!!!! That's was super nice and above and beyond. I will definitely recommend this property to any family or friends visiting the area. We did have a few issues I should mention. One is not in the hosts' control, and that is that we ordered some puzzles from Amazon and never got them because the USPS claimed to have not been able to access the property twice!!! So don't order anything for delivery during your stay there. The other is that it would be good to have room darkening shades on the front door and at least the window next to it so that you can more easily view the projector TV in the late afternoons. But overall I highly recommend this property or any managed by these hosts!

A secret home high on a hill with views in all directions

We loved this beautiful home hidden inside a pecan orchard. No neighbors, no roads and total privacy. Windows everywhere, many outside doors and the dogs were totally safe from any road traffic. The house was very comfortable for three couples and the living/play areas were well designed to keep us moving throughout the house for various activities. The house was perfect to reunite with old friends and to tour this area of New Mexico. Some of our friends could only spend a shorter time but my husband and I and our dogs enjoyed a full two weeks. Bobby kept in touch making sure that everything was going smoothly for us. The house is in great shape and supplied with everything we expected and even a little more than expected. Lovely welcome treats were left for our enjoyment. Since retiring to Arizona a dozen years ago, we enjoy vacationing all over New Mexico and have been to Las Cruces many times, but never for this length of time. When we cycle back to this area in the future, we hope this property will still be available. Thank you, Bobby, for a wonderful stay in your lovely home. Ps. Paradise in Las Cruces

This was an amazing property in an idyllic setting. The views were spectacular, the house with beautiful with ever amenity, and the hot tub was an awesome touch. Bobby is the best VRBO host we've ever had. He helped us with everything from excellent recommendations for food and excursions to ideas on how to solve a travel woe that we had. It was better than I ever imagined, and my husband and I are ready to move to Las Cruces! Thank you so much for everything, Bobby!

We enjoyed the privacy of this home. Chasing sunsets and sunrises, the mountain view and wildlife was great. We enjoyed going hiking and checking out Mesilla for shopping, food and beverages. Our evening we loved the hot tub with the views of the city, playing pool and checking out everything we could. Overall great trip.

This home and the views were outstanding!

The home was more then we could have asked for. We enjoyed the privacy and being so close to hiking and outdoor activities, Old Mesilla for shopping, food and beverages. Our evenings were filled with chasing the sunsets, sitting in the hot tub and playing pool. Having our coffee and watching the animals in the mornings with the stunning views was a great start to our day. Bobby was very accommodating with answering questions. We will definitely be back to enjoy this home.

Both work as environmental professionals all over the country and during a brief visit back home to "Cruces," fell in love with the property in 2012. Headed to one of the wineries in Mesilla, we were disappointed to find it was closed for the day. We randomly decided to look at a property we'd seen online and are glad we did. We made an offer after one just one visit to the property and have spent tons of time and money creating a safe, tranquil, and unique escape in one of the most underrated and beautiful settings in the Southwest. We are proud of what we have accomplished and proud to share our home with the world. The guest book and great reviews make sharing this unique space all worth it! We set out to create an affordable escape. A place that people will remember and appreciate for years to come. The views, the wildlife, the hot tub and pool table all make for a great vacation spot.
