About this property

Modern and comfortable chalet with stunning views of the Ariege Pyrenees

The newly built chalet is located in the village of Gestiès at an altitude of 1000m.
Its location dominates the glacial valley and the Endron, a unique and splendid view over the surrounding peaks. The chalet benefits from all modern comforts, underfloor heating, large picture windows, suspended terrace and is located on a wooded lot.
It can accommodate from 10 to 11 people in one of the four bedrooms. Piano gas cooker, espresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, microwave, toaster, kettle, raclette grill, internet, television, barbecue ....
Access to the house is by foot. Parking located 20m.

A true haven of peace for all those who seek the calm and the proximity with nature in the heart of Regional Natural Park of Ariège. The village is perched on a mountainside and the ideally located house offers a breathtaking balcony overlooking the valley Siguer.

During the sunny days, you can walk on the GR10 which crosses the village and the many paths around. Ideal also for trail bikers or road bike enthusiasts.
Possibility of canyoning and horse riding.
Hiking you will discover the beautiful rivers and mountain lakes trout fishermen's paradise.

The caves of Niaux, Bedeilhac or the park of prehistory are a few kilometers away (15 minutes for the cave of Niaux).
The Couloubret baths in Ax-les-Thermes await you for a pleasant moment of relaxation after skiing or hiking. And the casino for a good evening.

To reach the Pas de la Casa in Andorra, count an hour drive.

In winter, the ski resorts of Goulier neige (20mn), the Nordic area of ​​the plateau de Beille (45mn) and Ax 3 Domaines (30mn to Ax-les-Thermes). Around the village many walks are possible snowshoeing on the trails from the village.
Sports enthusiasts can go cross-country skiing.

Amazing view and place to relax

The house is quite new and well equipped. Plenty of space available. The terasse is huge with a beautiful view into the montains! As Gesties is a very small village, it is very quiet and good to relax.

While this property is excellent in many ways, the main feature is the exceptional view from the decking - breathtaking. The only sound you'll hear is the birdsong and the distant sound of water down the mountainside. So many butterflies and bees here in July. The house is modern, well-equiped, and clean. There is a separate wash room with washing machine which was great for getting through our family size laundry. This is a very quiet area where you are surrounded by nature, and therefore the only drawback is there is no shop nearby, and it takes a car journey of 15 -20 minutes down the hairpin mountain road to a village with grocery shop / boulangerie. But I would definitely love to stay here again.

Maison très agréable, très spacieuse avec une vue exceptionnelle, superbe terrasse qui fait l'attrait de cette résidence, propriétaire très agréable et hyper disponible. Nous reviendrons pour un plus long séjour, idéal pour les passionnés de pêche également, a eu lieu cette année d'ailleurs à Tarascon-sur-Ariège les championnats du monde de pêche à la mouche. Je conseille cette maison. Cordialement.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce grand chalet convivial où chacun avait également son espace mais le mieux reste la terrasse avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes. Le seul regret est de ne pas avoir eu de neige. Une bonne raison pour revenir même si les jours ensoleillés que nous avons eus pourraient nous donner envie de venir également en été!

Maison très agréable avec une vue magnifique. Il ne manque rien au niveau matériel et ameublement aussi bien à l intérieur que l extérieur mais un peu plus de rigueur niveau de la propreté aurait été parfait. Bon contact avec le propriétaire.

Environnement exceptionnel et calme

Niché au fond du village de Gesties, le châlet est idéalement situé. La vue de la terrasse est sublime. L'architecture générale du châlet est un régal : les volumes et les pièces sont bien proportionnés : les salles de bains sont proches des chambres et bien équipées. La salle à manger profite de la belle luminosité du rez de chaussée. La cuisine équipée est correcte. On trouve pléthore de jeux de société et de livres de randonnée. Bref, ce fût un séjour au calme dans un cadre très agréable.

Superbe séjour , un chalet magnifique avec une vue a couper le souffle. Le calme absolue pour un dépaysement total et très bien situé pour les randonnées L'accès et par contre très compliqué et le parking difficile d'accès pour des personnes non initiées. Le chalet demanderai à être dépersonnalisé et les ustensiles de cuisine remplacé (appareil à raclette cafetière...)
