Family Cabin near many larger lakes, UTV trails, hiking, kayaking Namakogen
Newer lake home with all the amenities of home (including AC) on a small, quiet, and private lake which is perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding (we have three of each, you can use)! There are a few other cabins on the lake and there is no public access.
Large yard, excellent for bocce ball and corn hole (provided) and other games you choose to bring. We also have a closet full of family board games.
There are many other larger lakes in close proximity for those who like to hop around and fish.
The water is very clean and due to weeds around dock we generally take the kayaks, paddle boards and floaties and go out further to swim. Floaties are excellent on our lake because it is quiet and not dangerous of speeding boats and jets skis are not allowed on our smaller lake.
The cabin is close to many bars and restaurants. There is a General store and Dollar Store 1 mile away with all the necessities including food, liquor, gas, bait and tackle.
We are minutes away from Voyager Village Golf Course where they also have amenities such as Tennis, Soccer Golf, Indoor heated pool, and bar/restaurant.
For the hikers and bikers, there are many trails to choose from with the closest at Big Bear Lake Nature trails and Wild Cat Mountain Trails. These trails are also used for cross-country skiing in the winter months.
Hundreds of miles of ATV/UTV riding during the Summer months and Snowmobile trails during the winter months. Also, nearby ATV/UTV/Snowmobile rentals.
Close to rentals for tubing, kayaking, and canoeing the beautiful and scenic Namekagon River.
1000s of acres of public hunting land
Our property does have security cameras outside in the front and back yard.

We had a really nice weekend stay at this property. It was very quiet and peaceful and the paddle boards and kayaks were awesome for being able to check out the lake. We enjoyed our stay!
Great cabin for families. They had everything we needed and then some. Close proximity to shopping and lots of options for places to eat. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away.
This cabin was a perfect getaway for me and my family. The cabin is very well set up for cooking meals and eating them together inside or out on the deck. Nice and private. I would highly recommend.
Loved the cabin and really enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boards. Place was nice and clean and the owners were quick to respond to any questions we had! I would highly recommend it.
Ages from 5 to 70, everyone had fun and enjoyed themselves, 5 yr old caught her first 2 fish , family had fun with yard games and board games inside when it was raining, BBQ went well , deck outside was great
The cabin was beautiful and very spacious for the 10 of us staying there. The yard space was perfect for the two kiddos that were with us and the water crafts provided ensured fun for everyone. The hosts were fantastic at communication and meeting any needs we had. We would absolutely stay here again in the future and had a fantastic time!
Enjoyed the privacy--we didn't see another person while we were there. Nice deck and access to the lake. Kitchen had what we needed. Great place to vacation with our dog. :)
Nice property, clean, and nicely equiped with a lot of pots pans and cookie sheet. We got to used wood for a fire beautiful weather for it Thanks again
A very nice cabin. Well built and laid out nicely for guests.
Such a nice deck out back.
Enjoyed our stay. It is close to nearby restaurants and stores.
Lake is very weedy so no swimming. Some fish seen but not caught.

Thank you for your review! With the lake being four feet less than normal, the weeds on our side of the lake are worse than we have ever seen! Hopefully it will be better by spring! I am glad you enjoyed your stay.
Did an extended weekend with Friends and had a great time. The place was nice and private, yet close enough to a small town to get what you need. We had a crystal clear last night down at the fire pit. If you do rent this place and get a clear night, do yourself a favor and turn off the house light and hang out on the dock. The stars were amazing!

So glad you enjoyed and got to experience the stars away from the city! It truly is amazing! We hope to see you again!
The home was large enough to comfortably accommodate our family, each with their own room. The location was situated on a smaller lake and while we didn't see an area to drop our boat in, we were able to utilize the furnished kayaks and paddleboards. We also enjoyed the large fire pit and deck. Thanks again.
We loved our stay here. We were there with our adult children and our dog.
The view of the lake from the deck is gorgeous. The deck is lovely with comfy seating and tables. We spent every morning there with our coffee. It’s so quiet and peaceful.
We really enjoyed the kayaks, the fire pit, and the Cornhole game.
There is lots of room to spread out. The kitchen is well equipped and it’s so convenient to have an upper and lower door out to the lake.
Fantastic cabin in a very convenient location (short drive to market store and other activities). Yard and firepit area are extremely private. We didnt have to put bug spray on all day/night, extremely suprising. The paddle boards and kayaks were perfect for the lake, the far side of the lake was also great for swimming. We didnt have any luck fishing or see any fish in the lake, but it was perfect for kayaking/paddling/etc. We didnt see anyone else on it the entire trip. All in all a perfect secluded northwoods escape
