Poolhouse Cottage

Welcome to Charleston! Come and escape to your private get-away near all the beaches, restaurants and fun. 1 mile (3 minutes) to shopping, 4 miles (6 minutes) to the ocean/beaches & 6 miles (15 minutes) to historic downtown Charleston. Centrally located to everything you would want to do in this beautiful city!

This private poolhouse is located behind the owners main house and is set far back for privacy. There is a separate entrance gate and path just for guests, so the experience remains private. This cottage sleeps 8, and is perfect for a long or short stay. As our guest, you have full access to the pool, fenced in yard, and 2 parking spots. With a full kitchen, washer/dryer, bathroom and additional outdoor shower, you should have everything you need! There is one main queen bed downstairs, along with the kitchen, living area, washer/dryer and bathroom/shower. Upstairs there are two matching lofts, both with removable ladders, that have a queen bed and twin bed on each side. (Note that the lofts are accessed by ladders if mobility is an issue). The poolhouse is dog friendly and is completely fenced in. The pool and outdoor shower are all yours, and beach towels are also provided. Please feel free to reach out for suggestions, activities and directions! There is no better location in Charleston!

Engagement Celebration

I used this venue as a spot to celebrate my own engagement and it was a wonderful evening. Upon arrive with my newly fiancé I was pleased to find the place even more romantic than the pictures entail. The area offers enough space to find shade and be in the sun and is highly accommodating of all ages. I am very glad I was able to find the property by chance one night, and get it booked. It was a place we all will never forget, and would highly reccomend to all that come after us- thank you again!

A Perfect Spot for Me AND the Dogs!!!

I came down to Mt. Pleasant for a small family gathering, and I always travel with my two dogs. The Poolhouse was just perfect!!! Huge yard for the “kids” and I even enjoyed the pool itself before it got too cold. The owners thought of everything, and the mattress was so comfortable! They even were kind enough to tend to my dogs when we were out all day sightseeing. It’s conveniently located, and extremely private! Well worth the investment to have my own little home away from home!

The Best Little Cottage!

Excellent Rental Property!

The pool house was great for my entire family. The kids pretty much lived in the pool and if they weren’t in the pool then they were watching their favorite movies and shows on large tv in the pavilion. We enjoyed a lot of outdoor meals together and just loved our time together there. Also, very close IOP beach and downtown Charleston. Danielle was great and always available. Thank you!!

The Best!

We loved literally everything about the cottage! My little one loved the upstairs and the pool! We really enjoyed watching movies at night and swimming at the same time. It’s very family oriented and welcoming. My pup loved having the run of the place as well. We will definitely be coming back in the future and booking it longer next time!

Perfect vacation

We had a wonderful time. The pool house was perfect for myself, hubby and pup. Everything was nice and clean . The pool was amazing. Danielle and Scott have thought of everything to make your vacation perfect. From providing a wagon to haul all your stuff to little things like beach towels and other items. Perfect poolhouse and doggies were a big plus

We loved staying at the poolhouse during our May vacation. Everything was planned for our convenience, even a wagon available at the parking area to place our belongings in to take to the poolhouse. The poolhouse is efficiently designed for all needs. And we loved the pool. We do not have a pool at home so being in a poolhouse just feet from the pool was amazing. And we do not have dogs either so having Bubba and Roo to play with was so fun. But if you are not dog people, the owners are very respectful of making sure they are not an inconvenience. But we asked for dog time and the owners were very accommodating. Great location near shopping and restaurants. Good selection. Of TV channels. And I need a good basketball court for my daily workout and the nearby Miriam Brown Community Center has excellent courts. In general, we wished we could stay longer...like 8 months :-)

We absolutely loved the pool house! It was the perfect location, so cute, gorgeous at night, loved having the pool, loved that we could bring our dogs (and even got to play with the hosts’ dog 🐶) and the hosts were so accommodating, helpful and friendly!! Beautiful pool house!

We had a great stay at the breezy pool house. My kids spent a lot of time in the pool, and we explored the area a little each day. It’s nice that it’s only about 10 minutes from the ocean. My dog also enjoyed the fenced- in yard. Highly recommend.

Great property

Beautiful property inside and out. We had our dog with us and he loved running around the huge fenced in yard. The house inside is nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and stocked kitchen. It was just my husband and I, so we didn’t need the extra beds. But we thought upstairs loft with the extra beds for guests was so cool. The pool looked inviting but it was too chilly for us to get in. Great location, close to everything. We had a great stay!

Danielle and Scott was an awesome host! Very communicative and great energy. The house is super and it has so many details that make you feel at home! Even better than described!
