Britt’s barefeet beach retreat is your next vacation rental

Walk up to our home with stair lighting leading to our double porch with an outdoor fireplace. Our home has a beautiful open concept with vaulted beamed ceilings and is tastefully decorated in a beachy decor. The kitchen has leathered granite,farmers sink,stainless steel appliances and everything you need to cook at home including a waffle maker,griddle,keurig machine, and toaster. There are 4 bar stools for the island and a table that seats 6 plus two more bar stools.
Hardwood floors and ceramic tile are throughout the home. The great room boasts built in shelves surrounding the fireplace with window seats. The second floor has a gorgeous master bedroom and bath with double sinks and tiled shower. The king bed is super comfy to watch tv. Large closet in bath with a hanging rack for your clothes. The second bedroom has built in shelves with a tv as well as a closet with shelving. An additional full bath with a shower/tub is in the hallway. As you head down to the first floor you have stair lighting that leads to the two bedrooms,full bath with shower/tub ,laundry room, garage and screened in porch. The king bedroom has a closet with a pack and play for the little ones. The fourth bedroom has two full over full bunk beds with twin trundles underneath and two big yogibo bean bag chairs and a closet. All bedrooms have paddle fans. The laundry room has a washer and dryer vacuum and ironing board. Our two car tandem attached garage has a charcoal grill 4+ beach chairs sand toys 2 adult bicycles and 2 boogie boards for the kids. From the garage you can access the screen porch on the ground level with a dart board and seating which leads to a stone pathway to an outdoor shower. Our home sits on a corner lot with beautiful landscaping and trees for some privacy. There are sidewalks palm trees and lighting that line the streets of the community. We are a 1 minute golf cart drive to the beach (We recommend renting one for a fun stay as these carts are street legal and a fun way to cruise to the boardwalk,restaurants and shopping.) The public beach access is a short walk away. There is so much to do in Carolina Beach from visiting Fort Fisher,an aquarium,boardwalk,fish,surf,take the ferry to Southport,and Wrightsville beach and downtown Wilmington are a short 30 minute drive. Our home is beautifully kept up and we are always adding new amenities. We have board games for the kids and I think we have thought of everything to make this the vacation home you will want to go back to every year.

Amazing family beach vacation

Our family of 5 had an incredible vacation! The home was beautiful-bright, airy and decorated like a beach paradise. It had everything we could ask for and more. we were a couple blocks from the beach and we walked to it every day. Our rental provided chairs and beach towels and a boogie board!! the porches were great for staying in at night and playing games. I would stay here again and again and highly recommend it to anyone!

Property was in excellent condition and made for a comfortable stay for our family. Proximity to beach was as described. We rented bikes for easy back and forth from beach but used a car to drop off our gear. Our first time in Carolina Beach - lots to do, great restaurant suggestions from our host. Our group enjoyed the local coffee shops, breakfast places and a few dinners out. Laid back vacation was just we were looking for. Angela was a great host and communication was great - thank you!!!

This property felt like home. There is so much space to gather and be together and when it’s time to go to sleep the bedrooms are great, and the mattresses are amazing! It is a walk to the beach but we enjoyed renting a golf cart and zipping around the island! This house will be on our list for future stays.

Great beach house! Beautiful inside and out! Loved the large porch. Owner was very responsive. Easy check in/out. Plenty of amenities and beach equipment in the garage. We rented a golf cart which was perfect for getting to the beach. Quiet and pristine neighborhood.

Luxury beach home

The house was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious; beds were extremely comfortable. The house was clean and well maintained. Towels, pillows, sheets, Kleenex and two ply toilet paper all provided. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this house. Walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. This was our third VRBO house we stayed in and our first 5 star rating!

Great house for family vacation!!

What a great house for my family's vacation. This was our fifth time to Carolina Beach and this was the best house we have rented. It was clean and provided ample living space. It had a separate space for this kids to hang out in the screened in porch and it was easy to communicate with the property manager. The location was close enough that we were able to walk to the beach and tiki bar yet was a quick car ride to the Wilmington Riverfront and other local places. We will be back.

Perfection!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Angela’s house. This house was perfection! It was clean, comfortable, and within walking distance to the beach. The house is located in a quiet/safe neighborhood and we enjoyed relaxing on the comfy front porch. It is in a great location for walking and riding bikes too. Angela is so nice and was quick to respond when we had a question. She also shared her favorite pizza on the island with us. What a treat! Thank you for everything Angela and for helping our family make memories that will last a lifetime.

Fantastic Beach House

We loved staying at Britt's Beach House. . . the layout of the great room, the decorations, the porch with comfy couches and rocking chairs! My parents sat on the porch every morning and every night. We loved everything! We had a family reunion and it was the perfect place for all of us. Angela, the owner, is very responsive for any questions or anything that comes up! A short 5 block walk to the beach. Tons of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach games. There are charcoal and gas grill. The two empty, wooded lots on either side make it cozy and private. We loved our stay! Thank you!

Family Vacation

This property is everything advertised and more; a very warm and welcoming house, clean, everything we needed and more. Our adult kids and their kids enjoyed family time together, making family meals, playing games, watching movies etc. we enjoyed the beach being within a walking distance. The owner is accessible and friendly. The location is great because it borders a walker-friendly neighborhood, is a ten minute walk to the ocean and it comes equipped with everything a family would need for cycling, bbq and the beach.

AA wonderful and homey rental!

Our family came to Wilmington to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and celebrate my mother's 93rd birthday. The home is clean, well furnished and very comfortable. Wonderful Experience

Wonderful week with my daughters and their families. This is a beautiful and spacious, well equipped home. My grandkids loved the bunk room and we all enjoyed preparing meals in a fully equipped kitchen. It is a short walk to the beach but we rented a golf cart and had so much fun driving around the island. We would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful time in CB

We rented this property for a "workation". What a beautiful home! Perfectly decorated and very well appointed. We had plenty of space (we were 5, youngest being 15), we were within walking distance to the beach, close to everything, and could unplug after working 7-3. Our host was amazing too. I couldn't give a higher recommendation and I hope to return soon. <3

Relax at Britt’s Beautiful Beach House

Had a fun and relaxing week with the family. Front porch was perfect for everyone to gather, eat, and laugh! Wonderful memories were made. The home was stocked with beach items, grills, anything you would need for a day on the sand. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Britt was very responsive to every question I had and made great suggestions for the local restaurants, etc. Thank you!

We had the BEST experience as a family with three toddlers. Our entire stay was perfect- with the personalized check in process, spotlessly clean and welcoming home, the proximity to the beach, the gorgeous neighborhood and everything we needed to make our week at the beach so memorable. What a beautiful home and attentive owner. This house was so comfy cozy. We came for a state tennis tournament and this house was perfect for all the ladies. Family room was open to the kitchen. Fun spot!

Our family wanted a beach getaway at a good price. This place fit the bill. It was a great property and just a few blocks from the beach. We also took in nearby Wilmington and South Port. The aquarium was better than expected. We mostly enjoyed family time hanging out at the property and it made for great memories!

Very nice home to relax in...

My family enjoyed staying at this property, and we would definitely rent it again. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space. This property is nicely prepared for many guests. The kitchen is stocked with the tools and dishes you need, and it has a nice open set-up. It was really nice to sit on the porch and read or walk to the beach. Lovely.

We fell in love with Carolina Beach on a Trip to see my sisters home. Our home was being built and as a realtor for 25 years I knew quality when I see it. We have 6 children and hope this to be a retreat for all who rent from us. From the upgraded lighting,open concept, painted white wood beams and two fireplaces one being in the outside porch I knew this home was for me. The bonus in buying the lot next door offers privacy. We love having a new beach community Sea Grove 3 lots away as it offered street lighting and sidewalks and palm trees line streets without having to pay an HOA. It really is having the best of both worlds. We get a neighborhood feel and are a short walk to the beach.

Why they chose this property

Everyone who stays at our home has loved it and always say they want to come back. We pride ourselves in providing a super clean home that you can walk your luggage up the stairs and not have to do a thing. Upon arrival you will see clean folded sheets at the end of each bed. We just ask that you strip any clean sheets prior to leaving so our cleaner can do the same for the next guest. We ask that you clean any towels that are provided for the beach and bath before you leave. With lots of outdoor seating in the upstairs porch and the screened in porch below enjoy our surround sound speakers streaming your favorite music on Sonos.
