Loved the pool & the friendly people we met. So many great restaurants walking distance. Nightclub can be heard from condo. Condo needs some updating. The view from balcony is wonderful! Overall a lovely time in Playa del Carmen.

I stayed 40 days at the elfaro,I had different quests coming it was a pain getting them in all the time ,the security are very rude!i will not stay there again!

Nice pool. Close to ferry and shopping.

Condo was a decent size and in good shape. The bathrooms both smelled terribly of sewer gas. AC worked great. Patio was good but unusable due to mosquitos a fan out there would help. The kitchen had the necessary cooking things but no seasonings or oils or what we find at typical Vrbo properties we have stayed at. The location is 1 block from 3 of the loudest nightclubs in PDC. You can hear them easily through the walls/windows. If you are a light sleeper it might be a problem. Don’t go from April to September unless you like swimming in seaweed, don’t plan to use the beach, or plan to go to Cozumel or Isla Muejeres. They clean it daily but it doesn’t help. Decent place but maybe better for adults only or folks with college age kids.

Noisy and need improvements

Coral 305 is very noisy since you can hear nightclub starting 9pm until 3am. So if you are light sleeper this place isn’t for you. We had white noise machine on high and it didn’t help. The place needs updates: bathroom fixtures are rusted, drain doesn’t work in second bathroom, wooden doors are all broken, water pressure is very weird and different everywhere. Chairs in the kitchen are cracked and I had to move some of them into the other room in fear that baby will get hurt. Kitchen is very very poorly equipped. Coffee machine and microwave are good and new - that’s good. Dishwasher is scary old, not attached and almost falling out, stove is confusing with points off/on all screwed. Bottles in the bathroom without any labels so wasn’t even sure what was what? The view from the balcony and El Faro itself are great, but I wouldn’t stay at this unit again.

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful property one block from 5th Avenue and right on the beach. It can be slightly noisy from the nightclubs but it didn’t really bother us. Ocean side you only hear the waves. Dish soap, sponge, dishwasher detergent and toilet paper are provided along with shampoo, body wash, and hand soap. The property shows some wear from rentals as well as the normal wear from an ocean front unit. However it is really well kept and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The staff at El Faro is wonderful and we would definitely consider staying again when we come back to Playa.

Amazing Home and Great Customer Service

Unit 305 has an amazing view and it’s perfectly located close to shopping and restaurants of Quinta Avenida. The unit comes with your personal local concierge. Olga was our assigned local concierge and was amazing providing exceptional customer service. Olga meet us at the unit and did a walkthrough and provided food and shopping recommendations. We also got to meet Clara which provided us with antibacterial for the unit and was very helpful. The two bedroom two bath unit was perfect for our getaway.
