Wonderful Renovated Family Friendly Home Close to Boston and Lexington

Located less than 25 minutes from Boston, this charming three bedroom home equipped with everything for your family's needs will be the perfect oasis away the hustle and bustle of the city.

First Floor:
Enter into a warm and inviting family room complete with Samsung UHD TV and Sonos Sound System. One step up leads into the chef's kitchen complete with all Viking appliances and All Clad cookware. The kitchen is part of an open concept living space including an eight seat dining room. A sense of luxury is felt in the living room adorned with shiplapped fireplace, and Hunter Douglass full length shutters. A full bathroom and bedroom allow for flexible sleeping accommodations away from the second floor bedrooms.

Second Floor:
Two generous sized bedrooms share a full bathroom outfitted with brand new lush white towels. The master bedroom has a queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress, SMART TV with access to Amazon Prime, HULU, and Netflix, and blackout custom window treatments. The second bedroom is best suited for children. There is a set of twin size bunk beds, a full size crib, and a toddler bed to accommodate your little ones needs. An easel, some books, and toys allow you to leave the excess "stuff" back home. Built into the top and bottom of the staircase are pull across safety gates.

A washer and dryer are located in the basement.

Fantastic experience in a very clean, comfortable and well appointed home. Location was great and Janel was very helpful. Very close to Burlington hospitals, restaurants and shopping. Also a quick trip to Cambridge and Boston sights. Nice backyard and neighborhood. Highly recommend - enthusiastic 5 stars!

Great area! Very safe and friendly. We felt very safe letting our teens walk to TJ Max. Gas station, TJ Max, CVS, McDonalds and Dunkin are all super close. It was a 30 min drive to Boston or Salem and up the street from Lexington. There’s a really nice mall and lots of restaurants about 10 minutes from the home as well. House is super cute and cozy. Property manager is easy to teach and friendly as well. The stairways had baby gates which we didn’t need but they would be great for those with young kids. They even had kids toys in the kids bedroom closet!

The house is lovely; very clean and well appointed. I visited with two adult children, and although Janel let us know that the upstairs room with three small beds was really only appropriate for kids, my daughter is short and the single bed was fine. The location was perfect for our needs, a 90th birthday party nearby, and some exploring in the Boston-Cambridge area with family. The clean up process was a little intimidating (what if I don't start the double dishwasher correctly?), but I think we managed it.

Cozy house in great location

We enjoyed our stay and Janel was very responsive which we appreciated. The house was well appointed and our son especially enjoyed the children’s room with a “secret”closet full of books and toys.

Historical getaway

Wonderful Stay

We could not have imagined a more wonderful home for a family! From the perfectly appointed kitchen to the plentiful supply of children’s toys, Janel goes out of her way to display a wonderful mix of New England charm and comfort. Perfect location for graduation

We find that renting a house is more economical and comfortable than staying at hotels, and this property did not disappoint. We can for a college graduation, and were able to have a small gathering of friends and family after the graduation. Plenty of space in the house and out in the spacious yard for people to spread out and socialize. Lovely, quiet, comfortable, close to Boston and Waltham.

Comfortable home in quiet neighborhood

My husband, our 4 daughters, and our au pair rented Janel’s home for 3 weeks while we were on an extended visit to Boston. The house is stylish, lovely, and comfortable. The beds are soft and comfortable, with nice linens… the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to feel at home and to comfortably cook meals. The neighborhood is quiet, and we loved taking walks in it. The house is within a five minute drive to Whole Foods and a Stop and Shop. Janel provided us with a list of ideas of things to do, restaurants to eat at, and she was so great about communicating throughout our time there. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely hope to rent this home away from home!

Our September stay

Two grandparents, two parents, and an 11-month boy, Riley, were guests of Janel for a week. We grandparents had Riley to care for each day while Mom competed in a national golf tournament and Dad caddied for Mom. Janel’s property was the absolute ideal location and set up and design. Riley and I each day explored Lexington Green, Minuteman National Park, all of it, and Concord and The North Bridge; and Walden Pond. We even drove down to Harvard Square! The rooms were spotless and for us with an active crawling child the attention to cleanliness was gratifying to say the least. Each night the dinner table with the highchair was the venue for a cheerful dinner with all of us together. And, oh, yes, the backyard and patio. All slept well. Lights were out early and the neighborhood was peaceful as can be. We were awakened each morning to the sound of Reveille at 6:30am sharp. It was a great feature, one of too many to list, of our fabulous stay.

A Wonderful Home

Such a wonderful home to have chosen for our stay. So warm and welcoming. A lovely backyard for playing with the kids or just relaxing and enjoying the garden. The neighborhood was great, and the property location was perfect and centralized to everything we wanted to see. For 4 of the days, we had 4 adults and two children there. The children, (my grandchildren) are both under 4. The rental offered many amenities for children (bunk beds, cribs, high chairs, safety gates) which was appreciated and made their stay all the more enjoyable. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided. I was reminded how much I liked Aveda shampoo, which was provided as well. The owner was attentive and responsive, and made sure we were enjoying our stay. I knew if needed, I could reach out with any question I might have. She was great. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay somewhere that feels comfortable, and like you are home (but still on vacation) the minute you arrive. Just the best!

Janel’s house was wonderful. We had an amazing 2 week stay here with our 2.5 year old and 4 month old. The house is fully stocked with anything you need including kids toys and outdoor toys. The neighborhood is really quaint as well and we enjoyed doing laps around the streets on walks/bikes. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone and we will definitely be staying here again on future visits to MA.

Cozy Cape Cof

The house was clean, nicely appointed, and felt both comfortable and homey. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. The location is fantastic—perfectly situated just minutes from Lexington and Concord, and only about 40 minutes to Boston. History buffs will love how easy it is to access historic sites and landmarks from this central spot.

Perfect for us

If Bedford is the location you desire, then look no further than this property. Immaculate and wonderfully furnished. Kitchen had everything. Even toys for the kids. Used the Weber twice. Nearby to Whole Foods, Stop and Shop, and reasonably close to Burlington Mall. Would gladly stay there again.
