Fully renovated historic home and studio in the heart of the quaint village of Galisteo. This home has the charm of the 1880’s New Mexican Territorial, updated with all the modern amenities and spaces for modern living for your stay in the Land of Enchantment New Mexico. This home boasts 4 gracious bedrooms and 4 beautifully appointed bathrooms. There is a king suite and a queen suite, both with a fireplace. A queen bedroom with a fireplace, and a bedroom with twin beds that can be converted to a king. The house has 6 beautiful fireplaces. There are two TV/Family rooms to hang out plus a formal living room. These also provide additional sleeping spaces. A fully stocked gourmet kitchen with a large island that allows for fun experiences that can be shared by others helping or watching. For those that want to entertain, there is a formal dining room, wonderful outdoor spaces with a chef level gas grill and more casual dining in the nook connected to the kitchen.

There is also a detached casita (VRBO #1562227) that boasts great artist space or space to sleep 2 to 4 more. The casita has a bedroom and full bath, as well as minimalist kitchen. Rent both spaces for your larger group connections and functions.

This property is set up for all sorts of entertainment, whether that be hosting a wedding, a reception, a group retreat or just hanging out with those important to you. The home and studio are both equipped with WiFi and high speed internet and lots of private spaces to relax or to work, if you have to.

One hour from Albuquerque and just 25 minutes to the Santa Fe plaza, this one of a kind property offers easy access to most New Mexico treasures while providing the allure and peacefulness of a traditional New Mexico village with the majestic Galisteo basin as the backdrop. A photographers dream, the surrounding country of the Galisteo Basin is breathtaking. Make this home the home base for all sorts of day trip activities or stay put and enjoy the tranquility by strolling through the traditional village, taking advantage of the many walking and hiking trails through the surrounding high desert, horseback riding, bird watching, cycling, geocaching, scenic driving and photography.

An Experience to Remember

Absolutely a wonderful place to getaway in New Mexico. Close enough to Santa Fe, Nm [20 minutes] for all your needs and exploits. The perfect retreat, a Time capsule to jewel in a peaceful, quiet valley Loved this place and would recommend to everyone. Thank you Bobbie, and Marcella for making our stay a memorable one.

Beautiful home in a beautiful place!

This home is accommodated our extended family very nicely. We were able to create and share meals together as everything you might need was available. Host was available to answer questions and accommodating.

Amazing property for Family Vacation

We stayed at the property with 2 families with children to explore New Mexico outdoors as well as SantaFe and had a really great time. The property is perfect for this size of party and just an amazing place to stay. Highly recommend staying there.

Beautifully Renovated Home

Our group has stayed at numerous NM homes over the years, but this home was voted our favorite. It’s over 5,000 SF, but still feels homey. Three living areas when you want some quiet time. It’s beautifully decorated in Santa Fe style with unique decorations, beautiful rugs, and cozy throws. We spent lots of time in the kitchen/dining area, playing games and cooking. Lots of snacks were provided and spices and condiments were available. The kitchen had every small appliance one could use (including an ice cream maker). Paper products were available as well as extra pillows and blankets. Beds were comfy and the main bathroom felt like a spa. We hated to leave, but hope to return soon.
