Cottage close to the village center and Drôme

The cottage is located in a large stone building in a mini-hamlet organized around a common courtyard 400m from the village center.
It consists of two large vaulted rooms (cool in summer!) : a living room-kitchen of 30m ² with sofa bed (2 persons) and two rooms in row (1 bed 2 persons / 2 beds 1 person). Bathroom with shower, separate toilet.
Courtyard of 35m² at the back of the house (garden table, deck chairs and barbecue).
The cottage is located at the exit of the village of Mirabel-et-Blacons in a quiet and green area. The village shops (grocery, bakery, tobacco press) are 400m, swimming in the Drôme 10 minutes walk. Canoeing, hiking, outdoor sports and mountain on site or nearby. Old village of Mirabel to visit.
Between Valence (30 minutes) and Die (30 minutes), 7 km from Crest and Saillans.

Erg oud vakantiehuis

De locatie van het vakantiehuis is prachtig, maar het huis is wel erg oud. Het lijkt al vele jaren niet meer te zijn onderhouden. Wel is het, op de TV na, goed uitgerust. De TV heeft geen ontvangst en de DVD-speler was niet aan de praat te krijgen. Al met al zal ik het vakantiehuis niemand aanraden.

Séjour studieux dans le cadre d'une formation

Site dans un cadre magnifique et idéal à côté de notre école de formation. Beau gîte dans une vieille bâtisse, bien équipé et fonctionnel. Petits points noirs : un peu humide et frais. Ça doit être néanmoins appréciable l'été lorsqu'il fait très chaud. Et les chambres en enfilade (pas évident de ne pas gêner ses voisins de chambre pour se rendre aux toilettes la nuit !) Gérants agréables et disponibles.

Passend zum Urlaub ein typisches Häuschen

So klangvoll wie der Dorfname Mirabel- et- Blacon, so stilvoll war auch die Wohnung im wunderschönen Drome-Gebiet. Ausstattung an der es an nichts fehlte und eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin.

A dream come true.

The historic aspect of this cottage certainly added to the pleasure of our stay. The cottage, as we learned from out hosts, was part of a very old textile factory and just like so many old mills that have been converted to homes in France, so was this factory building with vaulted ceilings. Staying in this building, especially for us from the United States added to our experience of living history. The cottage was well equipped with a full kitchen and it was great to be able to do laundry on site. The location is in a quiet place close to a closed road, very pleasant to walk along to go to a nearby market for groceries. A water canal makes nice watery sounds all along the side of the property and along the walking road and there were fig trees and blackberries and other nice trees and flowers all long the walk. The bed was really comfortable and the hosts were welcoming and very friendly. In our conversations we discovered common interests in music and other subjects and hoped to talk with them more which isn't really a part of hosting but we enjoyed them both very much.

Dans la cuisine tout le nécessaire pour faire la cuisine (robots bouilloire) et suffisamment de vaisselle. La maison est fraiche lorsqu'il fait 35 degrés dehors. Seul bémol la terrasse est de l'autre coté de la maison il faut traverser toutes les pièces alors pour manger dehors !!!!

Bonjour, Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans votre gîte. Le logement correspondait bien à nos attentes par rapport à l'annonce. Nous avons apprécié le calme, le parking devant la porte d'entrée, et l'équipement quasi complet de la cuisine. L'ensemble du logement était très propre et le séjour coquettement aménagé Le seul petit bémol c'est qu'il fallait traverser tout l'appartement pour profiter de la cour-terrasse, mais nous étions venues pour faire de la marche. Alors... Si nous devons revenir dans la région je n'hésiterai pas à réserver de nouveau ce logement qui me paraît de bon rapport qualité/prix.

gite de caractère certes, mais avec trop de niveau.

le cadre est calme mais trop de niveau différent pour accéder d'une pièce à une autre, de plus ne compter pas passer une soirée devant le téléviseur année 80, présent mais non connecté, ni à une antenne, ni une parabole, ni box, et la vidéothèque ,idem, pas récent, impossible de faire fonctionner le lecteur CD. Actuellement pas de micro onde, en panne.Manque de lumière dans la partie salle à manger, c'est du repas aux chandelles.Les appliques murales sont insuffisantes pour y voir clair. Draps et taies fournies sur demande mais chiffonnées car non repassés. Le lit est à faire en arrivant. Peut mieux faire. Dommage beau coin.

La maison présente effectivement plusieurs niveaux avec des passages entre les pièces de 1 à 3 marches. Il est indiqué sur l'annonce que la TV n'est pas reliée à une antenne, mais nous mettons à disposition un choix d'une trentaine de DVD et vidéo (plutôt des films "classiques" et pour enfants). Le gîte est également équipé du Wi-fi. Le micro-onde a été remplacé à neuf dès la location suivante. Nous avons fait le choix d'un éclairage pas trop violent mais de nombreuses lampes sur pied sont disposées dans les pièces en complément. C'est une maison ancienne du Sud, les ouvertures ne sont donc pas très grandes ce qui limite la luminosité naturelle mais c'est ce qui permet de garder la fraîcheur même en pleine canicule ! Nous proposons une prestation de gîte et non d'hôtel ou chambre d'hôte : nous proposons une mise à disposition de draps pour ceux qui le souhaitent mais pas de prestation hôtelière. Les draps sont séchés au grand air et effectivement non repassés; c'est un choix militant en adéquation avec la dynamique écologique locale.

Le calme dans cette belle campagne

Nous avons passé un excellent moment. Le Gite est très fonctionnel et il nous a largement suffit. La literie est très confortable. Petite odeur d'humidité liée effectivement à une période bien pluvieuse... et à des occupants précédents ayant coupé l'extracteur d'humidité... L'inconvénient des veilles maisons en pierre... qui devient un gros avantage l'été car elle garde bien le frais!
