This beautiful two-story log cabin is nestled on 5 acres with lots of shade trees and privacy.  This home has a pool & hot tub and is very close to the lake! This would be a great place for a large family.  Redtown is on Log Country Cove property & is managed by Log Country Cove with 20+ years of five star hospitality in the Kingsland area.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

Hill Country Getaway

Extended Family Vacation

We all enjoyed our stay. The kids (cousins) loved the heated pool and getting to bunk together. One drawback for the location is the road noise but other than that we loved exploring the property.

Relaxing family time

We had such a great time. Family gathered to celebrate a 2020 graduation. And, it was relaxing and stress free during this Covid pandemic. We created fun memories in a safe environment. The home was perfect for us.

This house and pool and the commons area lakeside are all perfect for our family. There is so much to do and plenty of comfortable spaces for gathering and for retreating to your own space to relax.This year we took two more adjacent homes for our extended family and had a wonderful family reunion with 28 people.The management was so responsive and accommodating as alwaysWe had a blast and everyone wants to make this an annual celebration at Log Country Cove. This place was our third time renting from the cove. The pontoon boat trail and the canoe was a lot of fun and the guys like Cameron, Noah and the ladies in the office where just so easy going. Great Friends & Family Getaway

We had an amazing time! The house was a wonderful setup for multiple families, and the shared amenities were an excellent bonus. So much fun had by all ages - adults to 4 years old. Kitchen was amazingly stocked for a rental property. The home seemed well maintained and overall clean. The only issues we had with the property was there were a lot of bugs/crickets in the house, but nothing harmful. We had some issues with the hot tub, but they let us know up front and were quick to come resolve them even over the weekend. Wonderful support from the team! Thanks for a great stay - we look forward to coming back in years to come as we continue our Labor Day tradition!

The property was wonderful. It was clean and stocked well.

The overall experience was great! The family that manages the lake activities were awesome to deal with. The house was so clean and laid out perfectly for our friend group. The only issue we has was that it said it slept 22 and we only had beds for 20...the baby bed shouldn't count. We had brought an air mattress and there was plenty of room to place it so we were fine. Another request would be more forks....we didn't have enough to get through a meal without washing. These are really small issues and I would absolutely stay in this house and this area again! We loved it!!!

You only needed to bring food, paper products and toiletries because the cabin has everything else. The pool and jacuzzi were great to hang out it. Everyone was comfortable and slept great. We were planning trips back before we even left. It’s a great place for a little getaway to relax and enjoy peace and quiet. The lake was great too. The home was clean and the staff were great. We’ll have to bring a boat next time. Again, can’t wait to go back. 10/10 recommend.

The house was very large and the layout was perfect for our group of 8 adults, 3 teens, and 3 betweens. There are interesting activities nearby and the common area was a big hit with the kids. The house was clean had ample number of towels and check in and out was easy. The only reason I wouldn't give the property all '5s' are the small things that needed to be fixed like corner broken off glass stovetop, couple of stones loose on the jacuzzi, door knobs were coming off (we tightened them up). Having two refrigerators was great but one was missing the glass over the produce bins and the bottom grate fell off when we first opened the door. None of this really prevented us from having a good time.

We definitely enjoyed the patio area, fire pit, pool, and the kids play set. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms and we all had plenty of space!Areas needing attention...the pool has 4-5 very loose stones around the hot tub. They need secured ASAP. Also we didn’t have any equipment to clean the pool and the pool didn’t have an in pool cleaner. Most of the pool toys in the storage container were broken. However, the kids loved the stones to jump from. Fence by play set has a broken area. The pool sticks for the pool table did not have end tips on any of them. Inside the house, several recommendations...secure loose bedposts, loose towel hangers, ceiling fan housing was hanging loose, replace missing shelf in fridge, replace ice makers in fridge, repair broken cooktop ( it worked but has a very sharp edge) , replace burned out lightbulbs ( laundry) or leave lightbulbs, add batteries to remotes. Vanity plugs in two bathrooms Did not work. We loved the western decor but also noticed a lot of dust in these crevices. Beds were comfy but linens could use updating. I mention these items because the rental is pricey and along with that comes a higher expectation. The office personnel were very helpful and personable. Our boat rental was great! Boat was clean and everything worked perfect! The common area is very nice with lots of play equipment. The kids loved the water trampoline. We also enjoyed the live music and drinks! My only suggestion here would be to possibly create a “ beach area” so we could swim in the lake in this area. We really enjoyed the property and would return. We just mention these areas needing improvement/repair to make the property even better!

There is plenty of room to spread out for lazy naps and great common areas for eating and playing and SWIMMING! The kitchen has two of everything— ovens, refrigerators, coffee pots etc.Very comfortable and very clean. Only one scorpion seen and killed!The common areas at the lake are well-maintained, shady, and fun!
