This cabin is the same floor plan and 100 yards away from Urban Cowboy, quite possibly the most popular 1 bedroom cabin.
Given the popularity of Urban Cowboy this cabin was built and enhanced with a covered veranda with covered outdoor living area off the main level including an outdoor wood burning fireplace. Escape to the mountains with your special someone and experience a brand new modern take on a cabin. Enjoy mountain views and an indoor heated pool that opens to the outside with a garage door in the pool room exposing your outdoor gas fire pit and mountain views. Features include a king suite with spa bath including a rustic rain shower with pebble floor and massaging shower jets, spa air jacuzzi tub with LED lighting, pass thru fireplace and 55 inch TV. Relax in the tub while enjoying a warm fire and mountain views or retire with someone special in front of the romantic fireplace.

Shoot a game of pool on the pool table or enjoy one of the 100 classic video games on the arcade include modern games such as Golden Tee.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking my be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are not pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

Fall Vacation

My wife and I had a very relaxing week vacation. The cabin is very comfortable. We loved the sauna after long days of antiquing and sight seeing. The pool was a little cool for us but was very clean and relaxing. We definitely would stay her again. Our only suggestion would be to have curtains for the windows where the stairs are.

Bed was comfortable, shower was relaxing, soaking was good as well.Cons: No seating in the pool table room, Sauna was not working, fell in the pool area do to unlevel area around pool, also glass door on the lower level bathroom (very awkward. No privacy) and no closet space to hang anything only 4 hangers in a little nook area across from shower. Also they need to update kitchen utensils and cooking wear (had to pick Teflon out of eggs)

The pool was very cold it Took 2 days to fix The problem and it was still cold.They need to put more windows in the bedroom. There was so much sun light coming in .We couldn't sleep past 8 o'clock We have stayed in your properties before and never had a problem till now. I will definitely not recommend this cabin.

Reviewer Comments: The Cabin was beautiful, we had a little trouble the second night with the splash alarm, the pool water level was too low and every time the jets turned on the splash alarm went off. We were up about every half hour for the entire night. But the next morning they came out and filled the pool and no more issues. Other than that our stay was fantastic. We loved the cabin and everything matched what was on the descriptions and pictures of the cabin. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We will return!

Elk Springs Resort had some beautiful cabins to choose from but ultimately we decided on City Slicker.The cabin was tucked into the trees, far removed from roadways and noise, which is beyond important for me. As a matter of fact, we heard only the occasional tires on gravel from neighboring cabins and that was minimal. To enjoy the sounds of birds and nature was so soothing!The cabin was clean and ready for our arrival. It’s adorable and has all the amenities you would need. The decks, the pool, the gas outdoor fire pit...amazing! The location to all attractions was convenient. This cabin has tremendous natural lighting - totally a positive, however if you enjoy sleeping in, I would suggest an eye mask.The bed was very comfortable. Our stay was wonderful and the whole experience was perfect. I will definitely be a repeat guest with Elk Springs Resort.

City Slickers Staying at the City Slicker

The design was unique and comfortable, and the pool and lower space was a nice touch. The pool table was high quality, and the arcade game took me back to my childhood. We also took advantage of the multiple fireplaces, and the outdoor deck. Our only issues were that the wifi would sometimes work and sometimes not, and the sauna was finicky. The host was always available via SMS, which was nice. Overall great experience and would definitely visit again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a great stay overall. The view was lovely, and everything was clean with beautiful, well-stocked supplies. However, we did encounter a few issues. The pool door had an alarm, but the instructions on the wall were confusing, and we couldn’t figure out how to turn off the alarm. The AC was another problem — the drip pan was filled with water from the water heater, from the water heater not the AC, but theycontinued treating the AC. the excess water was overflowing into the pan. They vacuumed up the water but didn’t fix the issue. The problem kept reoccurring — within 30 minutes, the pan would fill up again. It seemed like the pipe needed repair, as it was draining directly into the ground instead of being properly directed. It was extremely inconvenient. It was our honeymoon after all, and the interruptions made that unpleasant. The last person who came to fix it applied a temporary solution to prevent the leak, but the water heater itself was the root cause. It really requires someone who can properly diagnose and fix the problem long term. I'd rate it a 5, but this issue brought the overall experience down.

Reviewer Comments: It was a nice cabin but we couldn’t enjoy our outdoor areas unless we don’t mind having our neighbors join us. There was absolutely no privacy. There’s no bathroom on the main floor. And if you are used to sleeping with blackout curtains...you won’t be sleeping here as there is no window coverings on the upper windows. We could also see out our windows into the neighbors houses at night time. It was a very nice cabin but not for us.

Fine but housekeeping was lacking

We enjoyed our stay but the cabin was not very well cleaned. We had bugs but to be expected in the mountains. Kitchen cabinets were sticky and needed wiped down. Cushions outside needed vacuumed and there were cigarette butts on the veranda. The microwave needs a good scrubbing because you can smell other people’s previous food when you open it. By far the worst was when we were packing up, finding a condom wrapper under the mattress that had an expiration date of 2023 (we stayed in 2024). So clearly it has been there for quite sometime. When we told them about it we were told “sorry, that’s so embarrassing”. I don’t think we will be staying again!

Beautiful cabin

We loved staying at this cabin. This cabin was one of the cleanest I have ever been to. The only reason I have a 4 star is because there was a handful of hair floating in the pool and there was hair on the shower wall. Other than that really enjoyed our stay. Definitely will be booking with this resort again.
