We loved our stay at this Gatlinburg cabin! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The hot tub on the deck was amazing after a day of hiking — such a relaxing way to end the night. The cabin felt private but was still close to town, which was super convenient. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great cabin

We loved the cabin. Our usual spot is two levels and we loved how everything here was on one level. The double jacuzzi tub is amazing!! The owners left a lot of nice little touches like coffee pods and instant oatmeal. So nice of them. This cabin is perfect for a couples getaway and is pretty close to gatlinburg

Wonderful stay @ the Hillside Hideaway

Our stay was in mid-May 2025. The Hideaway was absolutely perfect. Exactly as described. Extremely clean and cozy. Loved being surrounded by the forest and even saw a momma bear and her cubs from the safety of our balcony. Great location, convenient to both the Parkway and The GSM National Park. Navigating the driveway was not a problem. Confirmation and communication with property manager was excellent. Would definitely stay @ this property again.

Close enough for short trips to town but far enough too

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We have stayed all over the area and we think this area worked out best. We enjoyed the short trip to town but also the seclusion and silence of the area. It may have been the time of year but we saw quite a few Bears in the area which we loved. We will most likely come back!

This house is exactly what is pictured. The owner is great to message back. The kitchen and bathroom are absolutely gorgeous and all new appliances. Even though our trip was cut a day short, Ed was understanding and great to ensure I stayed in contact about our plans for leaving. We will be back for another parents only trip again.

Great Experience

This was the perfect place for my wife and I to have a long weekend away. Location is a perfect distance from Gatlinburg where it’s quiet and peaceful but you could be in town with a 10 minute drive. The house was clean, organized, and relaxing. The host was very responsive when we had a question before our arrival. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Thanks for a great experience even with a visit from Hurricane Helene!

Back home

Great stay. Ed responded to any questions I had quickly and helped with local information. Beautiful home with everything you need. Though we had only a couple of days and were gone most of the day time it was a great place to come “home” to. Just the getaway we needed over the long 4th weekend! Everything was smooth from purchase to checkout. Will stay again! Even saw a bear crossing the road as we were on our way to check in.

Great Honeymoon Getaway

My husband and I stayed in this cabin for our honeymoon, the property manager had great communication with us, told me if I had any questions just text him. The property was amazing but the drive way if your driving there in the dark you really have to look for it, it’s not the best driveway but it is on a mountain so it is what it is. Our first night there trying to get into the property we saw a bear, so make sure to be aware of your surroundings. The whole stay was great, beautifullly decorated as well

The entire place was amazing from the moment of entry. The most adorable setup in every room. We absolutely loved the decor. Love the bears, and all the windows, and the big mirrors lite up the place. Place was very clean and comfortable. My husband had to drag me out to the attractions, I could have stayed there the whole weekend, however there are very neat places to go nearby. Of course the world famous Dollywood was an adventure. I would Highly suggest the Tuckaleechee Cavers the caves are incredible and the history behind them are fun to know. There are great diners and restaurants around. If you want to stay in to cook at the cabin, the kitchen is completely set up to have your own meals there then relax in the jacuzzi. The Bearclaw oven mitts were the cherry on top!

Ed was an amazing host and his cabin was absolutely amazing!! If you are looking for a cabin in Gatlinburg then definitely book this one as you will not be disappointed. It’s so cozy and perfect for a couple. Close to town but for enough away that you are out of the hustle and bustle. Next time we come back to the area we will definitely be staying here again.
