this was our second time staying at the baby bear hideaway and it fit all of our needs. very clean, and convinient, and reasonable price. it is only about a 20 minute drive from pigeon forge, the host is very quick at responding she even let us check in 2 hours earlier for our convenience. we definitely recommend if coming to gatlinburg!

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay and my first negative review across any booking platform.Upon arrival, the rental had an unpleasant sour, musty odor. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and noticeably sagged, making it difficult to sleep. I woke up feeling sore rather than rested.The shower was another significant concern. The fiberglass floor flexed and sank beneath my feet as I moved around, accompanied by concerning noises that made me question its structural integrity.To the host's credit, they acknowledged my concerns and indicated they would replace the mattress and have the shower floor inspected. I appreciate their willingness to make improvements.However at the cost for the stay, I expected a clean-smelling, comfortable, and properly maintained accommodation. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of those expectations.I typically don't leave negative feedback, but I believe future guests deserve an accurate account of my experience. Based on the condition of the property during my stay, I cannot recommend it.

Guest clarified to us that he noticed a sour smell all around the property - which could not be confirmed by other guests in same building. Property manager examined shower floor and mattress and found no issues. No issues were ever reported by prior guests,

We had a great time while here for Slammed Enuff 2025. The views are beautiful and the small community here within this little top of the mountain complex are incredibly nice. Highly reccommend to anyone trying to get away while also being up at the top of a mountain.

High up beautiful views on the drive going and returning little porch will a little view good enough. Close access for attractions. The No way Jose restaurant no thank you there are a lot better restaurants with a lot better service around.

Cozy little apartment

We enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect size, clean and quiet with nice views. It was a great home base for taking in the sights and hiking in the park. We even saw a bear while driving down the mountain one morning. Gigi was great and easy to work with and the apartment had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Anniversary/Family Trip

We had a wonderful stay at the Baby Bear! It was clean and had a wonderful view. We saw a few bears on the way up the mountain which was really cool. At night we could see Jupiter, Saturn, and the Milky Way! My kids loved it.
