We had a great stay! The pool was amazing! We spent most of our time there because of the hot weather. Nice large house that was great for our larger family.

The property is beautiful as is the house. We held my son’s ring dunk there and it worked out great. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and linens needs to be improved. Overall it was a good stay.
Fantastic property for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids. Disappointed that we could not stay longer! The pool was great and the beds were comfortable. Only issues..a few light bulbs were out and the unpleasant smell from the showers/water.
We stayed here as a group of 12 adults for a game day weekend. The house is great with plenty of room, towels, beds, etc. We enjoyed the back patio area.
A wonderful country getaway with lots of wildlife and a fantastic setting if you like the country. Needs a little maintenance and not everything works but still very enjoyable. The host and owner were both fantastic.
Loved memories made at Mobley Ranch home! Kids, adults and grandmothers had a great time. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend this home if your planning to be away from the city. Thanks for allowing us to make wonderful memories with family!
This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay! It is beautifully set in a quiet remote area & easily takes you away from your normal city life. The property manager, Haley, was wonderful & willing to be available even though it was during the holidays. It was a nice touch that we were able to meet the owner of the property as well!
We would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the city hustle. You will get to see lots of different wildlife, but enjoy your normal hotel amenities.
We had a graduation family reunion and the property and house were absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for what we were looking for. Everything for every family member and we had plenty of space. We were not right on top of one another. Owner came out to fill the feeders to help maybe see some elk. Wonderful time nd everyone enjoyed themselves.
The uniqueness of this beautiful property is what sets it apart. Quiet, secluded tranquility in the middle of an 1100 acre game ranch. While the driveway is VERY long and muddy when it rains, once you get to the end of it you are greatly surprised by the property and house. Relaxing and secluded there is no worry of being bothered by or bothering neighbors. Giant home has plenty of space to spread out and relax. POOL IS AMAZING! Cleanliness of home left a little to be desired but keep in mind this home obviously sees a lot of use. We stayed during Aggie family weekend (30ish minutes to Kyle field) so prices are higher but I would definitely stay again in a off season weekday. Bottom line, the unique solitude and awesome setting, great pool keeps this property in the 5 star range even with a few shortcomings.
Very secluded house on an exotic ranch. Wonderful pool! kids really enjoyed it! Great kitchen and living area. Master bedroom has 2 queen beds & en-suite bathroom. Study turned into bedroom has king bed with a bathroom down the hall. Upstairs has bunk room , 2 other bedrooms with queen in each. All share 1 upstairs bathroom. Overall good place to stay.
We celebrated my in-laws 50th anniversary on this property. It was great. Very spacious, very accommodating for the 3 families represented. The property manager promptly responded to all of our requests and was very responsive. The hotel-like ice maker in the garage was a very nice (and heavily used) feature. The pool was very warm, and the play area was great for family activities. My father in-law even saw an elk crash through the brush one morning and he said it was the most memorable part of the trip. Bring bottled water. Definitely recommended for a peaceful getaway amidst the Texas outdoors.
It's a beautiful home set on a large property. It has a beautiful pool that we enjoyed and lots of room to spread out in.
We met the owner who was very nice and obviously takes great pride in his property.
In renting this property, you should know that it is 5-10 minutes from the main road on a gravel drive that is moderately maintained.
There are a few items that should be fixed: no latch on the master bedroom door and no toaster.
Bedrooms:
Master with King
2nd bedroom down (2 Queens)
3rd bedroom (Queen)
4th bedroom (Queen)
5th bedroom (Bunk bed with single up and full down plus separate queen).
Overall we had an enjoyable and memorable stay.
Great secluded location with beautiful view and swimming pool. If you like country living this is the place for you. Commercial ice maker in garage is a nice touch.
Two small observations: Bed count seems off, which did not make any difference to our group because we were smaller and kitchen could use a little better cooking pots, pans and utensils.
If you are not used to living or staying in the county the hot water has an odor. Not an issue as it it just the water reacting to the anodes in the hot water heater.
This was a beautiful property on a gorgeous piece of land. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is pretty remote but we see that as a plus not a negative. Hayley, the manager was very responsive and the owner couldn’t have been more friendly. There was plenty of sleeping areas and lots of spaces for people to gather and visit both inside and out. The weather was cold but sunny. We lit a fire in the fire pit and everyone was very comfortable. We loved watching for the wildlife. We would definitely come back. As a matter of fact a couple of the guest are planning to rent in the future. Strongly recommend the property to anyone who doesn’t mind a slightly remote stay.

Family get together
The description and icon images on the bunk room makes it seem like that room sleeps more than it does. If the VRBO description says the house sleeps 20, not sure where the other 5 sleep as there were only beds for 15. Was listed as 4 full baths but only had 3.5. Outlets in the bunk room don’t work and there is a heavily stained area on carpet in bunk room. There were several lights that did not work. Upstairs bedrooms had smoke detectors with the battery compartment open and no battery inside. Deep cleaning needed especially for fans and return air vents on the ceiling. Also the splash pad bathrooms needed cleaning. Don’t expect to have reliable internet.
The pool and BBQ pit area was fabulous and lawn and grounds were beautiful. There was plenty of AC! Our family made it work for us. The open living and kitchen spaces were great. We enjoyed being outside and looking for animals. Very peaceful and quiet.
Great property for the large group we had. Second time I've booked & all went well.

For the price of the VRBO I thought the drive off the road toward the house was in need of maintenance- pot holes were full of water and mud. Once at the house—Water was very sulfur smelly. Didn’t feel like the house was not equipped adequately. No iron and no blow dryer. Would have also thought there would have been at least coffee items. Enough coffee for 2 pots. Towel and soaps were not put into the bathrooms- I had to deliver them to all the bathrooms.
We came for a game day weekend but regret that we were not able to spend more time just enjoying this home and all it had to offer! The kids loved the play area and wildlife both inside and out! Don't plan to just pop into town if you forgot something - three miles off the main road ;makes you think twice about that! Definitely would do it again if we have the opportunity.
Once you arrive at the home you’re in for a great time. The home is large and plenty of space for you and your guests. What the description fails to mention is the home is basically a hunting lodge about 30-40 minutes from College Station. It seemed like the home does not get a ton of use (which is understandable as it is a specialty home) as there were some large wasps throughout the backyard and in the BBQ grill. The home uses well water and has a bit of a sulfur smell when showering. Last, all the beds (outside of the one in the master bedroom) were more suitable for one big person.
All that said we loved our stay there. The stars light up at night and the pool was perfect after a day in the heat. Air conditioning was great and it was a joy to stay there. I just wish we knew all the details I stated initially going into it.
Hayley (the host) was great and very informative and replied promptly. I can’t appreciate her more. Hope y’all have as much fun at the house as we did.
House large enough to accommodate all the family. A little far from College Station but a GREAT house if you just want a relaxing vacation. Would definitely stay again!
The property was beautifully designed and.the pool was extremely nice. We enjoyed every minute of out stay. We love the privacy of the property. Perfect for family reunions of all age groups. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
