About this property

This single story home is located 1/2 mile from downtown Kidron in a quiet country setting, yet within walking distance of Lehman's, a well known non-electric store. You will be sharing the road with walkers, bikers, horses and buggies. You'll enjoy a good nights sleep on our Amish made queen size mattress sets. Being in the heart of Amish county and yet only 20 min. from Berlin, Wooster, Canton and the Football Hall of Fame provides many options for your stay. You will enjoy this whole private house with self check-in, garage and key-less entry. Most guests wish they could stay longer. This home is decorated in honor of our parents who made Quilts. It has a back-up generator for emergencies. There's also a photo wall with props for taking fun pictures. Use the hashtag #KidronQuiltersHome to add your vacation photos. We do have an outdoor camera with audio for your safety. Since we’re in the country, you may see wildlife and insects outdoors.

Visit with family friends

We came up to visit with some Amish family friends we have gotten to know over the last several years. Always a good time. This home was perfect for our family, very clean, and close to all the things you want and need to experience in Amish country. The host thought of everything and made us feel right at home with all the snacks and fresh baked cookies. We will definitely book this home again in the future.

Weekend Trip

There was two couples in our group. It was the first time for the guys to be joining us to the Amish Country This place was just the right place for us. Quiet neighborhood, very clean and cheery place. Came back after long day of shopping and enjoyed our downtime eating and playing cards. Would recommend to any anyone and would stay here again.

Ohio wedding weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kidron Quilters Home. It was a quieter setting than the tourist area around Berlin and we saw a lot of Amish as we visited local sites. The drive to do things in Berlin area was beautiful and the home was very comfortable and nicely furnished.

I'm a retired caterer, married to, Bruce, a hard working, salesman. We enjoy motorcycling, grandchildren, gardening, traveling and our church family. I love the hospitality business and helping guests have a great experience is my goal.

Why they chose this property

This is a family built home. Bruce and his sister, Aggie, helped their parents build this duplex in 1980. We currently own and maintain the property, having totally renovated it in 2017 and furnished it for short term rentals in 2019. Aggie and her mother are/were amazing quilters and we chose to honor them by using a quilters theme.

What makes this property unique

Custom Amish made, queen size mattress sets and some furniture are used in this home. A large yard off the back deck is available for games, sunning and relaxation. Many guests comment that they love the big chef's kitchen. Nearby parks with walking trails are a bonus.
