About the host
Hosted by Mikki Lukens
My husband and I are originally from Ohio. We have always enjoyed the great outdoors! We enjoy hosting and meeting our guests from all over the country and the world and sharing with them our little piece of paradise!
Why they chose this property
My husband and I chose to retire in Whitefish Montana because we love the area and love being active outdoors. We built the cabin in 2007 out of reclaimed wood acquired from 170 year old Ohio bank barns. The cabin is surrounded by Flathead National Forest which gives you the feeling of being alone with nature, yet it is only a short drive from the cabin to downtown Whitefish, Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort and Glacier National Park!
What makes this property unique
Waking up each morning with mountain views and wildlife walking on the property is something you never get tired of!
