Conveniently located to many of the area’s amazing natural attractions, you are 30 minutes from Glacier National Park (west entrance), 25 minutes from the ski slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort and approximately 40 minutes to Flathead Lake. The home is centrally located between Whitefish and Columbia Falls off of Highway 40, yet a world apart with it’s quiet charming vibe. The nearest airport, Glacier Park International (FCA), is about 5 miles away.
The area is a haven for recreational activities in any season and an all-around travelers’ paradise. Check out all the Flathead Valley has to offer in Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Bigfork, Lakeside, Somers plus more.
The entire space is yours to to enjoy.
These modern, contemporary cabins are offered as dual, tiny home combination. A spacious deck connects the cabins for ease of access between them as well as to the hot tub and firepit area. This allows for private sleeping quarters yet close enough for family time. With one bed in the loft of each cabin, there’s space to comfortably accommodate 4 people. While only one cabin offers water and sewer for toilet/showers and cooking, both have electricity, wireless internet and all the modern amenities needed for your stay.
Cabin 1 (Main) offers 240 square feet of common space with a couch, mini-fireplace, kitchenette and private bathroom with full-size shower. The 69-square-foot loft boasts a king size bed.
Cabin 2 (Dry) has 160 square feet of common space including a comfortable couch for lounging, coffee station, smart TV and a 69-square-foot loft with a queen-sized bed. All lofts are accessed with a sturdy ladder.
Opting for a clean and uncluttered energy, you’ll find this property equipped for the most discerning guests. A fully stocked kitchenette awaits you equipped with a microwave, small fridge, toaster oven, portable double burner, plus all of the essentials to accommodate your needs during your stay. A drop table and chairs are tucked in to the space for your convenience. The living spaces display the contemporary decor with a hint of mid-century style. Colors are serene and neutral and comfort is the standard. Wall-to-wall windows flood the space with natural light and offer beautiful views.
The outdoor amenities are just as spectacular, with a deck offering both a lounge and dining area as well as a relaxing private hot tub. There’s plenty of space for your exercise routine or yoga practice with mats provided. The outdoor space is complete with a fire pit and BBQ. Wood and propane are provided for your convenience. Enjoy the peaceful, rural location with spectacular views of mountains, trees and farmland - perfect for an evening of stargazing and a glass of wine.
While the location is rural, there are other cabins and farms in the area. It is not secluded. A privacy wall of wood is located on the edge allowing for unobstructed scenic views with frequent visits from deer , turkeys and other wildlife.
Due to the location and the relatively small population size of the area, there is not public transport options. Finding a ride with services like Lyft and Uber are a good choice but can vary in availability. Other options may may be available depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
Please be aware that Montana winter storms can hit hard and fast. You may want to consider renting a four-wheel drive in the winter months depending on your experience with weather conditions. We do have a snow removal company that will take care of plowing the driveway, and we do provide snow shovels and snow melt for use during your stay. Major storms will contribute to the timeliness of plowing so preparing accordingly is key.
The home is stocked with firewood and the private hot tub is open and serviced year-round as well.
Cellular service can be spotty in the area depending on your provider, weather conditions, etc. Generally, the wireless internet service in the house is reliable.
